"History, before the founder sacrificed herself to the Xustron Tree. Nothing exists, it is blank history that seemed to have been erased." Ariawyn quoted after Rachel.
[Such a thing to suspicious. To many holes leaves wonder. Why would the Elves need the Xustron Trees nutrients, something in which they still continue to this day.] Elfin continued.
"That isn't the only factors, but, with everything like this. I can only speculate that the worlds...." Although, Rachel never said the last part, Ariawyn finally understood what the last part ment.
[The world's Biology changed, or mutated, it could no longer sustained life properly. So, each other Races threatened with extension would have sacrificed something for survival.]
"…." Ariawyn was silent, as she felt the footsteps from behind approach. She would have shoot but, the aura was of someone she knew. "Did you come to find me?" she asked.
"Sorry, I saw that you didn't return and got worried." Said Edward.
"I am merely having a silent night before battle. Afterall for some it may be their last day." She said solemnly.
"Ummm, Do you not like me?" he blurted out.
Ariawyn frowned and looked at him like he was stupid. "What a thing to say out of nowhere? Why aske such a thing?"
"Well, you have always avoided me?"
"I avoid large crowds and other people when possible, I prefer solitude, such is the nature of elves."
"Sorry, I didn't mean…..I just want you to get along with everyone."
"You speak as if our companions get along. The constant snide attacks they make towards each other is 'getting along', it's always the same to them, teasing you or belittling each other.
Well, not that I care. Who the 'Hero' choose as his friends, his companions, or lover, is up to him. As long as he fulfill his duties and killing the demon king" She said before walking past him and back to the camp.
She fell asleep in her tent.
Next Day…..
By morning, Ariawyn was inside the meal tent that had yet to be packed up and took out a slice of cake from Rachel's storage.
[You know she is gonna be mad when she finds out you have been eating her sweets]
"She'll get over it. Besides why waste a perfectly perversed masterpiece by saving it.
[....]
The first bite gave her turned her normally cold expression, into one of blushed bliss.
"Hey!" someone yelled and flipped her table.
Ariawyn made sure her cake was safe first just as she looked up to see the best-girl of the harem. For whatever reason the cat girl just decided to throw punches. Perhaps even more instigated as Ariawyn was dogged but also enjoying her cake at the same time.
After taking the last bit was when Ariawyn decided to end things, with a merciless kick to the face. That blasted beast girl out of the tent and probably into someone. Ariawyn had stepped out of the tent with her bow.
"Hey, Iris, what the H*** are you doing!?" the sorceress companion said with arrogance complaint.
Ariawyn was about to say something but then she caught the glares of all the hero's twelves harem members. 'Is it just me or has their attitude towards me it worse then before.'
[....]
"..." Ariawyn didn't care anymore and didn't want to think about it anymore. So, she turned her head. All of this was childish to her, just far to childish to her.
