Chapter 69: Not a Trouble-Maker

Could Qiang really be falling for that married woman? What's Song Lili gonna do then? Should I give her a heads-up?

"Let's go." Li Qiang turned around, his head bowed as he started walking off, clearly preoccupied with his thoughts.

Xiang Long, too, had some thoughts swirling in his mind.

The two walked in silence until Xiang Long followed Li Qiang all the way home, nearly walking into the community with him before he quickly snapped out of it, "Qiang, I've got to split. I'll bring you something good tomorrow morning; remember to come find me in the security room, yeah!"

Li Qiang was puzzled and about to ask what it was when he saw Xiang Long hastily running off, leaving behind a flustered silhouette.

With a furrowed brow, he arrived at Song Lili's doorstep. Just as he raised his hand to knock, the door clicked open.

Taken aback, Li Qiang saw Song Lili's excited, expectant eyes, "You're finally back!"
