Talent.

In this world of conflict, talent is something that people wish more than anything.

It makes the person become unique and powerful than the rest, as if the world is telling them that they are different from the masses.

And Gray is one of them.

Being born with a rare special physique, Gray's talent was without a doubt excellent.

Having supernatural strength in his body from young age made him realise that he is different.

And after that came was a heap of praises from the surroundings, which made his nature escalate.

From humble to arrogant.

And like most normal people, the continuous praises made his arrogance rise to its peak.

His unnatural strength that comes from his uncommon physique made him indulge and thrive for his own selfish desires.

And from that he started to become a leader of gang and started to gain more followers as he became more powerful.

But, soon he encountered a person. A person who is more of a monster than him.

And that monster was a werewolf. A werewolf named Boros.

"This girl..."

With a gulp, Gray took a step back as he looked at Ghislaine full clad in her aura with an aura sword in her hands looking him like a prey.

He could feel the fear. The primal fear he felt from Boros. The fear of being a prey.

When people suddenly encounter a strong enemy with the fact of it having overwhelming strength, they react in two different ways.

Either they run away or they go insane.

A person who comes with reality and becomes afraid and looks for a way for his life.

And a person who doesn't comes with reality, and becomes overwhelmed by fear and disbelief making him go insane.

"I won't accept it! I won't accept it!"

And Gray was the type of person to go insane. How can he believe that he would lose to a girl who isn't even an adult?!

"I am is the one who is blessed by the heavens! How could I lose?!"

He lost to Boros. And now he is going to lose to a girl?

"I can't believe it!"

Gray full of insanity, just ran towards Ghislaine and smashed at her with his big fist. Ghislaine quickly placed her aura sword in front to block it.

"It's stronger than before!"

Unable to handle all of it, she flew behind and got smashed into the rock wall making the cracks into it.

"Ha...hahah! I knew it! How could I lose?! I am indeed the one blessed by heavens!"

And the punch did it's work. Gray who seemed to be afraid not long ago, was standing with a confident face. A bit ago, he seemed to be in doubt of himself.

But that one punch which smashed into her really made all of Gray's doubts vanish into smoke.

It made him certain of his thoughts. And unknown to him, his body cracked. As if a lock was opened up with a key.

And Gray's presence became more heavier than before.

"Cough! Cough!"

'How did he go stronger in the middle of the fight?'

Ghislaine stood up and looked at Gray smiling as he looked at his fist. Because of her Aura Reinforcement and Enhancement, she wasn't heavily injured.

Moreover, using her reflexes she reduced the point of impact to reduce the force as much as possible.

Ghislaine is a idiot but when it comes to fight, she is probably the most talented in the Avalon.

'He is strong. But... I have taken more heavy hits!'

Gray is physically strong... so what? She has taken more heavy and powerful hits from Ren. When Ren hits her with his gravity infused fist, it aches more than his fist.

For her taking such hits is a norm.

Infused more aura in her legs, she just dashed towards Gray and in a second, she was in front of him.

"This..."

To protect himself, he quickly bought both of his hands in front of him.

And Ghislaine just swung her sword from behind towards his head wielding it like a baseball bat, irrespective of his defense.

After all, aura sword isn't some kind of normal metal sword. It is a sword made of aura that takes its shape around a weapon based on the user's nature.

"It's coming!"

Feeling the presence of sword coming at his head, Gray's arms became more tense making the muscles become more tight and veins visible to naked eye.

Strike!

Ghislaine's eyes widened a bit, since her sword which was supposed to slice both of his arms and head stopped just in between.

The aura sword went deep, cutting through the hard muscle arms but it didn't reach to his head.

The bones of the arms stopped it from advancing further.

"This guy..."

From the start, Ghislaine didn't take Gray in a serious note. She is confident in herself to take out any opponent, whether it was the werewolf Boros himself.

But the Gray's resilience and talent truly shocked her. Blocking an aura sword with bare arms? It's too absurd!

This is unbelievable!

"It hurts, but... I blocked it! Heh! And Kane was telling that it was impossible for me to fight a 3rd tier aura user."

With a pained yet confident expression, Gray pushed away the aura sword with his strength making Ghislaine take a step back in daze.

And he then looked at Ghislaine, who came out of her shock and then wielded her sword back in action.

"Hehehe..."

The arrogance of being the chosen one by heavens.

Before, Gray gave it up that arrogance in front of Boros. In fear, he complied and served him.

But not today! Today, he realised that he is destined to be the chosen one.

What about Boros? He is the most talented and powerful ever!

And his uprising strength is the proof for that!

"This time... I am going to show you the power of being chosen one!"

He stood with a slight bend, since his arms are literally dangling down.

Even though he blocked it, it doesn't mean he didn't get damage. Rather than that, he was heavily damaged and it wouldn't be a surprise of him fainting because of blood loss.

But, he was standing with a smile carrying a sniff of arrogance.

After all, he is the self proclaimed chosen one.
