Now, in the middle of the night in nearest barren land in 3rd district from Merchant Strip, two figures were standing against each other.

Igawa Asagi. The young girl full of talent who is the new elected clan leader by her dead father.

And on the other side is Ren Kobayashi, the leader of Avalon, the uprising criminal organisation with the aim to usurp the country.

And now they are going to fight, with life in line. As for how did it come to it.... Well...

Merchant Strip, Near the Wall...

"So, tell me do you want to serve me - Ren Kobayashi, the leader of Avalon and aid in the quest of building a Kingdom?"

Ren stood tall with his the moon light falling over his stature making him stood out like an enigma over the surroundings.

At this moment he truly looked a king, a man to be revered by the masses. A man who truly ruled over others.

Looking at his hand towards her, Shiranui smiled a bit and then stretched her hand towards it, ready to grab and accept being under him. But then a shout from behind stopped it.

"I don't agree to it."

And it was without a doubt, the youngest of all - Igawa Asagi.

"Asagi..."

"Shiranui-senpai. I just want to see if he is worthy of being the one to rule over her, Taimanins."

Igawa Asagi. She is a genius with sheer tenacity for hardwork making her the upcoming strongest among the Taimanins.

She is mature and understands her circumstances at this point but still is very prideful of her lineage of being a Taimanin and doesn't want anyone to rule over Taimanins, specifically above her clan.

Knowing that Ren is an important existence for their survival, she despite being prideful could only bet for her pride at this moment to see whether Ren Kobayashi is worthy of their service and loyalty.

"You won't disagree, right, Ren-sama?"

Asagi tried to rile him up, and said with a mocking tone to hurt his pride. Being someone who does the same, Ren just laughed at finding someone trying to do it at him.

Yet he didn't disagree. He is going to become their leader, and later a King. He needs to show and discipline this girl to make her properly service him.

"I will take that bait. But what's in for me?"

"Huh? Didn't you I said you will get Taimanin's loyalty?"

"It seems you are misunderstanding something. The one I am doing negotiations is Shiranui. I am fighting with you for your personal grudge. So, tell me the price you are gonna pay for losing? Or you didn't prepare anything?"

His words sounded like an insult inside Asagi's head, agitating her.

"S-Shut up! I-I, If I lose I will become your servant or whatever you want!"

Asagi challenged him, pointing her sword towards him.

"You better to think about it. Once you promise me, you won't be able to escape from me."

"Who will lose to you?"

"Then let's go out of Merchant Strip. If we make big moves, the soldiers will notice and even your Black Assassins will get here as well."

And with that all of them crossed the wall. It was truly like escaping from Merchant Strip to enter illegally enter 3rd District.

And then all of them retreated far enough from the Merchant Strip, and the 3rd District being a barren land helped them to didn't use effort to find a place to duel.

"You ready, Miss Asagi?"

Asagi didn't said anything and drew her sword from back and looked at him very seriously.

'Hmm... Not bad. After she drew her sword, her aura changed from the innocent girl to a warrior.'

Ren just clapped his fist on his palm ready to fight.

He started to generate aura from his body and started to spread them all around his body. And his all specs increased evenly.

Asagi could feel the sudden increase of strength in Ren, since his presence became heavier.

'But that is something I can do as well.'

With her unique energy which they label as 'Taima', Asagi used it to make her body to make more strong just like Ren.

"Both of you are ready?"

Shiranui as the acting referee stood to make sure that the winner is chosen in a fair manner. Though, there isn't any rules in the fight. The way to win this fight is to make the opponent give up or make them unconscious.

Both of them nodded at her words, and she gave the signal to start the duel.

"Start!"

Without waiting both of them started to sprint towards each other, and after a few steps, Ren used more aura in his legs and in a second his speed skyrocketed making him reach in front of Asagi.

While Asagi wasn't surprise because this much speed is something she expected. If Ren wasn't even able to do this, then there is no way she can believe that he can become a king.

And both of them reached in front of each other with a sudden burst of speed, making it harder for normal human eye to track.

But no one here was a human, so the fight was in full view.

The first attack. Both of them instead of using tricks, went to a front fight.

After all, it is the first attack. The attack which is used to judge someone's strength.

Ren with a smile, just took his arm back and reinforced with mana, making a blue colour aura cover on his fist ready to attack.

And Asagi wasn't lacking for the first attack either. Using her 'Taima', she reinforced her weapon with it and swung at him at the same time matching his punch.

"Yaaa!"

And a fist clad in aura clashed with a sword reinforced with taima, creating shockwaves, making the place full dusty.

"It seems at list you aren't bad. But Asagi, I haven't got all out yet!"

"Same as well, Ren-sama!"

And with a smile both of the rushed again as soon the dust settled.
