The Only thing to be noted was that, Everyone of them had their hair braided neatly which were kept behind their backs, a sign of their marital status as married women.

Furthermore, her clothes were crafted with fine silk thread which was dyed in a deep blue colour, matching well with the blindfold. Coupled with her fair skin and a mature aura and the amplification provided by the forest and its fog, made her to appear more beautiful than the Nymphs of Devloka, known for their beauty.

There were four maid covering her from the four sides in case of any emergency while a single maid supported her gently on the uneven path of forest.

If you still unable to guess her identity, Dudes... Read some books...

From books, I mean this 'Work'!

Hehe..

Devi Gandhari's P.O.V,

Life is so fickle, right?

Just half a month ago, We received the unfortunate news of the untimely death of my husband's younger brother, Maharathi Pandu.

Honestly speaking, despite his terrifying strength, I consider him as my child. As his Sister in law, I cared for him like his true mother, Mata Ambalika.

Maha Mata Satyavati, Mata Ambalika, Maa Ambika and myself were the most hurt from this distressing information...

Sigh...

Even though the three mother in laws were currently residing at the humble hut of Maharishi Ved Vyas, I could imagine their unbearable pain...

More so, when I had recently gave birth to my lovely kids and a single sweet daughter.

Even the thought of hearing their demise frightened me to the limit! I can never imagine sheer amount of grief that I will have to pass through!

However, With the help of Maha-Mata, both Mata survived through the ordeal and returned to Hastinapur for a brief amount of time...

Albeit, their silent sobs didn't stopped for a single day...

Aside from the appearance of my nephews (Pandavas), I don't believe their grief-stricken nights will end...

...

Gurgle~

"Maharani-ji, We are near the shore of the river."

Oh, I forgot to mention...

Recently, the royal palace had been surrounded in an invisible layer of negativity. Whether it's Kuruvansha or its subjects, everyone was mourning for the awful event.

Most Elders were out of the town, on their journey to fetch Sister-in-law Kunti from the forest. Leaving us women in the castle along with Mahamantri Vidur and Maharaj.

Since, Maha-Mata Satyavati can't leave the side of both Mothers, I had to bring the news of the fall of Devar-ji (Husband's younger brother) to the Maha-Mata Ganga.

Therefore, with the help of Sughada (Mother of Yuyutsu) and the group of four maids, We are on our way towards the riverside of the Ganges.

Maybe due to the blindfold or some other reason, My hearing sense has been enhanced quite a bit, letting me hear the sound of water flowing from afar.

However, along with this sound, I heard another gentle melody that seemed neither like a man nor a woman...

By hearing that sound, I felt a little energetic and fresh!

From the words of my maids, I doubt whether any of them had heard it. Otherwise, they wouldn't be able to respond with this ease and professionalism!

So, without alerting any of them, my curiosity as a human drove me to discern the source of this voice.

'Om~'

[Note: Knock-knock~ 'Who's there?']

Thereby, I concentrated a little....

HOWEVER! Instead of finding the source! All I could hear was the divine syllable dipped in the celestial honey or even Amrita!

It was the last thing I heard before losing myself in the unique feeling of enlightenment, similar to the time when I was once under the divine presence of Param-Pujya Maheshwar!

I don't know what happened during that time...

The only thing I knew was... I wander in a white fog, endless fog...

Nothing could be seen through it, not even my legs or hands... I was formless... I was... myself...

I witnessed the lovely moments with my brothers... the partition with my father... My husband's dejected voice ... his betrayal... the disappointments... Birth of our first child... His happiness...

All of my pleasant and unpleasant memories merged with each other under the guidance of a pair of hands...

I was unaware of their origins... neither was I curious about them...

Because...

With a flash of dark fog engulfing my unpleasant memories... My worries, fear, anxiety, stress, grief...

All of them vanished!

Leaving nothing but a married woman, A mother, A wife, A sister and A daughter... loving playing with each other with the same transparency as that of a newborn child...

That single voice soothed my entire being, clearing the hidden grievances of mine, chaining me down from being either of them...

In spite of forgiving my husband and maid for their act... F-from insi-ide, I fe-lt the pain...

Argh!

Hidden from the eyes of others, I silently sobbed in my room...

However, due to the grace of the unforeseen voice related to Maheshwar, I finally made peace with my roles!

Nevertheless, It will take some time before I can synchronize with the sudden change, I will be able to remain true to my ideals!

"O' great lord and the one who helped me, both of you have my heartfelt gratitude... Om Namah Shivaya~"

....

To be continued...

Om Namah Shivaay~
