"Ehh? What happened?" Lucas was happily chatting with Calvin when he felt the connection between him and Ivan cut off.

Quickly turning to look at his monitors, he could still see Ivan sitting cross legged next to an altar. "What the hell….?"

The moment the system deemed the 2nd room of Insanity Hell a safe zone, Sage Lucas and Sage Calvin immediately lost the ability to sense Ivan's presence within the maze.

But the hidden cameras within the room were working fine. 

The two sages could still see Ivan's figure through Sage Lucas's monitor screen.

If that was the case, then that would mean the maze was malfunctioning and that Lucas would have to fix it immediately.

In the meantime, as Lucas tried to figure out what was wrong with the maze, Calvin focused his attention on the monitor screen.

'Is this what Headmaster Na meant by giving me surprises?' Calvin thought to himself as he smiled wryly.

Truth to be told, just before Lucas and Calvin lost the ability to sense Ivan through their magic, Calvin had seen the boy drinking unknown milky liquid that was within the stone bowl on the altar.

Following that, Ivan proceeded to twist and turn in pain as if a demon had possessed him.

But miraculously, Ivan's weakened aura slowly regained his strength as he managed to calm down.

Alas, Calvin becoming a Sage was not purely luck. He's known to have sharp intuition and accurate judgment.

Although the change in Ivan's aura was subtle, Calvin was sure that something or someone had taken the opportunity to possess the boy while he was weakened.

So watching the monitor screens intently was him trying to grasp on clues or proof that Ivan had really been possessed.

Because unless Calvin has solid proof that Ivan had fallen inside the Insanity Maze, examiner Lucas has no clearance to enter the maze to go rescue the boy.

The Condensed Soul Milk was really too mysterious and special.

As Chaos guided the spiritual energy to every inch of his body, the boy could sense that his soul, body and mind was being washed countless of times, leaving him with a warm feeling he had already forgotten.

Never in his life did Ivan think that he'd experienced such a warm feeling again since he lost his parents years ago.

Just like that, Ivan was amazed by the fact that you could get stronger just by drinking mysterious white liquid.

Chaos couldn't help but sigh helplessly.

He had been circulating the energy released by the Condensed Soul Milk within his body for hours now, yet the progress bar shown by his system was only half way done.

As a being that once stood at the pinnacle of his era, Chaos felt that the time needed to absorb the Condensed Soul Milk was too long for him.

Adding on the time required to refine the absorbed energy, Chaos's face couldn't but turn solemn.

But just before he closed his eyes to enter meditation again, a light bulb appeared above his head.

"Aha! It's been so long since I've used it that I've completely forgotten about its existence!"

Chaos quickly pointed at the holographic screen in front of him and shouted, "System open, Administrator Shop!"

A new holographic screen opened next to the progress bar screen. 2 lines of words were displayed on it.

Without batting an eye, Chaos confirmed his purchase with a nod.

"Oh no, 50 platinum coins were eaten by the admins. Oh how could I ever live without that tiny, tiny sum of money?" The sarcasm laced within Chaos's remark was so thick, all admins of the Administrator Shop popped a vein.
