Chapter 27

After hearing those words, Tian's brain that was frozen showed him all the memories he once forgot. He got lost in his thoughts, then he pulled Taria out of the pool and walked away while she was following him trying to understand what she did wrong.

"Take her back home, and never let her in", Tian said to the guards that were beside the front door of the house, then he walked into his room while Taria was crying and calling his name, unable to follow him as the guards stopped her.

"Tian please, hear me out first. Tian, Tian sorry, I'm really sorry. I take back what I said, let's just stay as we were. Tian, hic, don't leave me like that", Taria said while her tears were covering her wet face, yet the guards were still blocking her from entering.

One guard tried to carry Taria out of the house, but she started shouting, then she bit him, took a handcuff of his pocket, and restricted herself to the stair rails.

"I'm not going to leave until I talk to him, and if you touch me I will tell Ve about it", Taria shouted, and as the guards knew what her relationship with Ve was, they let her and left.

Taria stayed restricted to the stairs rails, unable to feel the cold wind over her body as she was only thinking about what happened. She knew that Tian must have a reason for what he did, and she also knew that this reason was his worries about her that she couldn't stop no matter what she did. Her heart hurt as if someone was crushing it, her head felt heavy, and her soul was broken, but she could do nothing other than sitting on the stairs, shedding tears and waiting for anything to happen.

After a while, Ve got back home, and he was told about what happened, so he went to see Taria who was sleeping on the stairs shivering. He took his jacket off and put it on her shoulders, then he went furiously to Tian's room. When he entered, Tian was sitting on the floor, covered with tears and staring at the wall. Ve's anger faded away after seeing his younger brother in that condition, then he walked towards him calmly.

"Did you fight?", Ve asked after sitting on the bed

"You knew it from the start, didn't you? You knew that staying with Taria would bring me back my memories", Tian said calmly without taking his eyes off the wall

"Yeah, I did. I knew that this girl was the key to your locked memories, that's why I asked you to stay with her", Ve said

"Brother, I saw it, I saw it all. The memories I have lost came back. Mother, father, and my childhood came back at the worst time they could. Ve, I don't want Taria to face the same things our mother faced. I don't want her to cry every time I stay out on a mission. I don't want her to have sleepless nights and nightmares. I don't want her to be in danger. I don't … want her to die", Tian said, then Ve sat down on the floor beside him, and patted his shoulder

"I knew she would bring you back your memories. She is very similar to our mother. Her bright smile, and her shining eyes. What I never knew was that my brother is a big idiot pervert", Ve said pinching Tian's ear

"A pervert?" Tian said

"Playing with a girl's feelings makes you a pervert too, it's not about bodies only. You had feelings for her first, and you stayed beside her until she caught feelings for you too, then suddenly you decided to leave her. You must be thankful that I'm your brother, or I would have killed you slowly and painfully", Ve said with a sharp voice

"But I..", Tian was saying, however, Ve interrupted him saying "if a girl like her proposed to me, then I would have been married long ago. She is perfect, Tian, she is strong, brave, cute, caring, and pretty at the same time. Our mother died to save our father, but she never regretted her life with him, she never hated the sleepless nights and nightmares she got, and she never regretted having us, otherwise her last words wouldn't have been (I love you all). Tian, she chose you even after knowing all your flaws and imperfections, and what is most important is that you love her and she loves you. If you want to keep her safe, then get stronger and keep her safe beside you instead of throwing her away like this, because she wouldn't feel safe without you any more. Now get up, and go take your girl as she is wearing a sexy swimming suit and sleeping in front of all the guards".

Tian got up fast, wiping his tears and heading towards the front door where Taria was after Ve's words convinced him, especially the part of her sexy swimming suit. Taria woke up on the sound of the iron shackles rattling, and when she opened her eyes, he had already untied her.

"Tian….WAIT, I WON'T GO ANYWHERE, AND YOU CAN'T FORCE ME TO LEAVE", Taria said, but Tian kept getting closer and closer to her, then he kissed her. She liked the way his lips were moving above hers, and the way his hand was moving on her back upwards toward her neck while the other was moving downwards towards her waist. She liked the way he pulled her closer to him, and the way he was controlling his breath. She liked it all to the point she was about to give herself up to him, but she got a hold on herself at the last moment, and she pushed him away, then she slapped his face coldly.

Her sleepy eyes turned dark, and the cute warm smile that was always on her lips got replaced with cold straight lips. She moved her thumb over her lips, wiping the saliva that she didn't know if it was hers or his, then she rolled her eyes over him, giving him chills.

"You were really trying to push me away, weren't you? Even after knowing what I've been through, you still asked your guards to touch me and move me away, haha, and I was the one who got broken again, what the hell was I thinking?" Taria said, then she turned around and went into the house, touching her wrist that was bruised, and leaving Tian to drown in his thoughts.

Taria went into her room and changed her clothes, then she was going to Ve's office to ask him to take her home, but when she opened the door, Tian was about to knock on it. She gave him another cold look, then she walked past him as if he wasn't there.

"Taria, please listen to me", Tian said while holding her arm, she paused, then she turned to face him

"You didn't hear me when I asked you to listen, and I'm not willing to hear you now. Let my arm, or I promise you you won't ever see my face again", Taria said with a cold deep voice, then she started walking again, yet she stopped and said "you have to choose, Tian, it's either me, or your worries" without even turning to face him.
