Chapter 14

Taria started shaking Tian crazily while he was trying to put a bite inside his mouth.

"Tian… TIAN I'M DEAD", Taria shouted

"Hey hey hey, what's wrong?", Tian asked

"MIA IS GOING TO KILL ME", Taria said

"Why would she?", Tian asked

"I was supposed to meet her at 12 at the mall, and it's currently 11:56. I. I need to go now", Taria said while moving nervously

"Taria", Tian said

"What?", Taria said

"Are you going to go out wearing my clothes and a slipper?", Tian said

"It's either that or the skirt Mia gave me. Should I wear that?", Taria asked while looking at Tian's dirty clothes that she was wearing. Tian regretted reminding her of that since he would hate it if Taria went out wearing that short skirt, then he stopped eating and walked out

"Let's go", Tian said

"You were eating though", Taria said while walking after him

"Yeah, that omelet was so good, but your life is more important", Tian said

"Really?", Taria said

"It's not the time to get emotional. I will buy you something to wear after meeting Mia", Tian said

"Well, you would need to buy something for you too", Taria said, reminding Tian that he was going out wearing pajama pants.

Tian drove so fast while Taria kept shouting all the way to the mall.

"TIAN SLOW DOWN", Taria shouted

"Relax. Mia would kill you if I slowed down", Tian said calmly

"So either I get killed by Mia or die from a heart attack. Well, a heart attack would hurt less", Taria said, then she closed her eyes.

When Tian and Taria reached the mall, Taria started running while searching for Mia who was waiting beside the store with flames in her eyes.

"Sorry, breathing, I was late", Taria said while trying hard to catch her breath after she was running, and when Mia saw that she couldn't talk properly, she rolled her eyes towards Tian who was holding Taria's arm to help her stand up properly.

"Why are you dressed like that? and why is her soul getting out of her body?" Mia said

"Ugh, don't ask. Riding the car with this man is scarier than riding a rollercoaster", Taria said

Mia looked at Taria who was wearing Tian's pants and shirt, then she leaned towards Tian and whispered "She was drunk, wasn't she? What happened?"

"Yeah, she got drunk", Tian whispered

"SHE BECOMES NAUGHTY WHEN SHE IS DRUNK", Mia whispered

"I realized that, but don't ship in your imagination a lot, nothing really happened", Tian whispered

"Mm, guys. I can hear you, you know. Can we please buy something to change these clothes. Everyone is looking at us", Taria said, then the three of them entered the mall.

Taria bought pants and a shirt as well as Tian, then they started following Mia everywhere while trying to find the perfect dress for her date. Mia was choosing the dresses she liked, while Taria was the one wearing them since both of them have similar heights and weights, and Tian was helping Mia to choose the dresses he would like to see on Taria.

"Too long, too tight, and its color is not good", Mia said

"And don't forget that its back is so opened", Tian said

"Mia, this is the 70th dress. It's been two hours, AND TIAN COULD YOU PLEASE PERSUADE HER INSTEAD OF DISAGREEING WITH ME", Taria said

"I need the perfect dress for a perfect date, and you promised me to do whatever I want if I put your name in the attendance, remember. Now go, you still have to try on other clothes", Mia said, then Taria sighed and went back to the dressing room.

After some time, Taria got out, wearing a long navy blue dress with thin shoulders and a half opened back. Tian felt the time became so slow, and he looked at Taria who looked like a princess from a fairytale. His heart started racing, and he couldn't hear Mia's voice calling him. Taria tried to walk closer to them, but the long dress got under her feet making her unbalanced, then she fell down.

"Hic, hic, sniff. This dress is too long", Taria said. Tian stood up calmly, then he knelt in front of Taria who was unable to get up, carried her gently, and sat her on the chair where he was sitting.

"Are you ok?", Tian asked while he was still kneeling in front of Taria

"Mhum, sniff, I'm fine", Taria said while nodding her head, then Tian carried her again

"The brown dress with silver beads will look great on you", Tian said to Mia, then he walked out of the store while carrying Taria.

"What are you doing? Put me down everyone is watching, and I can't go out of the store wearing a dress I haven't paid for", Taria said, but Tian looked at her eyes with a sharp look, and held her tighter so she won't fall down, then he said "you can't walk wearing this long dress. Mia said it was ok for me to steal you, and this store belongs to our family as well as every other store in this mall so there is no need to pay. Do you have any other excuses?" Tian said while the sharp look in his eyes became sharper, then Taria hugged his neck so she wouldn't fall down and stayed silent.

Taria looked at Tian while he was carrying her carefully. The wind was playing with her dress and her hair, as well as her heart, and with every step Tian took, she felt he was getting deeper in her soul, so she hugged him tight, leaving him to root in the depths of her soul as he pleased. On the other hand, he was so afraid to make eye contact with his beloved Taria who was in his arms. He had many things running in his mind, and he was afraid that looking into her eyes would make his mind blank as it always does. He felt his heartbeat and hers playing a symphony together, a symphony that he would never forget.

Tian put Taria on the car seat, then he finally looked at her eyes with a sharp look that was strongly willing to do something, then he said "Taria, I have something to say, but I can't say it until I show you who I really am. Would it be ok if I kidnapped you for five days? Only five days, and everything would be in your hands"

"Tian.. But school, and work..", Taria said

"TARIA, I'm talking about telling you every secret about the Leo family as well as me, even the deepest ones. I can't have your blind trust though I really like it, I want you to trust me knowing everything, not blindly. There would be no school for the next three days so you would be absent for two days only, and I will talk to the store owner about having a break", Tian said

Seeing how steady his looks were, and feeling how much courage it took him to say that, Taria nodded her head, giving him permission to kidnap her, and the sharp look in his eyes became much softer.

Just like that, the journey to knowing Tian started, out of the blue and at the time Taria least expected.
