Chapter 11

After the school ended, Taria went to her house and ate some food, then she got ready for her night shift and went with Tian to the store.

The night was calm and peaceful, even though many people came to the store, and after the long shift, it was time for Taria and Tian to go home, however, before they could leave, Mia called Taria and asked her to come fast.

"What's wrong?", Tian asked

"I don't know. She asked me to go to her house right now", Taria said

"Let's go then, I will take you there", Tian said while walking out of the store, then Taria ran after him.

When they reached Mia's house that wasn't far away, Taria asked Tian to wait for her then she entered the house, but when she got out 15 minutes later, Tian wasn't there. She took her phone out and she saw that he called many times but her phone was muted, then she saw a message from him saying "I had to go for a while. Please wait for me at my house, I won't take long", so she took a taxi to his apartment.

When Tian came back home, he saw Taria sitting on the sofa wearing a very short skirt and a one shoulder shirt, with her hair tied up as a high messy bun, leaving her neck and shoulder out. His face became hotter, and he covered his mouth with his hand trying to control his breath but he failed, so he turned around trying to avoid seeing her, but she called his name forcing him to turn around again.

Taria stood up, making it harder for Tian to control his breath, then she took her glasses off and said "where have you been? Is everything alright?"

"Ha, oh, mm yes. Everything is fine. What are you wearing?", Tian said, moving his hands nervously

"It's weird, isn't it? Mia dropped some juice on my clothes when I went to her house, then she gave me these. It feels like I'm going to a bar or something", Taria said

"No no no, it's. It's so pretty, and I can take you to a bar if you want to", Tian said while smirking

"I can't drink. I turn into a devil when I'm drunk, and we still have to do your homework", Taria said, then she sat down again, and Tian sat down beside her.

After half an hour, Taria and Tian were done with his homework, even though he didn't understand a word since he was only thinking about a way to thank Mia later. She was going to leave, but weird thoughts started running through Tian's mind with every step she took. "Did she come here using a taxi? The driver must have had many thoughts seeing her in that pretty skirt, ugh even thinking about it is driving me crazy. Let's take her home, but I don't want to let her go"

"Don't leave. I want to, mm, teach you basketball", Tian said after he was done with his thoughts and decided to keep her by his side

"How am I going to play basketball wearing a skirt?", Taria said

"This skirt is the reason why I can't let you go, and you can wear my clothes", Tian said, then he went to his bedroom and brought pants and a t-shirt before Taria could say anything.

Taria wore Tian's clothes that were to big on her, and when she came out to the living room, Tian started laughing

"Stop laughing", Taria said

"Sorry sorry, you are just so cute wearing my clothes. come here I will fix it", Tian said, then he knelt in front of Taria and flipped the bottom of the pants to fit her height, and pulled the belt tight to fit her waist.

After Tian was done, he looked up to see that Taria was so close to him. She was staring at him with her wide brown eyes, digging deep into his soul. His heart started racing, and he knew that his face would turn red at any moment now, so he stood up quickly and walked out of the apartment while she followed him.

Tian taught Taria the basics while they were on the way, then the practical part began. Taria was a very good student, and Tian was trying hard to focus on teaching her while her eyes kept distracting him. She was so happy to learn a new sport, and he was happy too because he got to see her bright smile every time she scored a goal.

"Now, you should jump up and put the ball in the basket", Tian said

"Ok .. Yaaay I did it", Taria shouted while she was still holding the basket after scoring another goal, but she got too scared to get down after she looked downwards

"Tian, TIAN I CAN'T GET DOWN", Taria shouted

"You just jumped up, it's not high", Tian said trying to calm her down

"Of course it wouldn't be high for a person as tall as you", Taria said while her eyes became teary

"Ok ok, I will hold you. Now let go of the basket", Tian said after he hugged her waist

"If I fell down, I will kill you", Taria said, then she closed her eyes, and let go of the basket.

Taria held Tian's shoulders after she let go of the basket, and her hair spread out after it was tied as a bun. When she opened her eyes, the first thing she saw was Tian's black eyes that were reflecting her. She felt his warm hands around her waist, and she could hear her heartbeats as well as his. Her hair started moving with the soft breeze, and playing with his hair that was sparkling under the moonlight that hugged them both, while Tian couldn't breath nor blink as he was still staring at her as if he was trying to memorize her face.

"Tian, could you put me down please?", Taria said

"Oh, yes, sorry", Tian said while putting her down, then he let go of her waist slowly as if he wasn't willing to.

"I thought that (sorry) wasn't a word you say", Ve, who came from nowhere, said, and Taria could feel how the atmosphere became so cold and tense

"What do you want?", Tian said coldly

"I want to talk with that child. I was waiting for you to take the first step but you seem to be unwilling to do it, so I will do it. I will tell her who you really are", Ve said

"I won't let you do that", Tian said while hiding Taria behind him

"Tian, this relationship is unfair for her. You know a lot while she knows nothing. A Leo would never hurt a girl, and you are hurting her every time you don't give her a clue about who you are", Ve said, and Tian knew, deep inside, that every word he said was true, so he turned around to face Taria and looked at her eyes with a concerned look, then he went away, leaving Taria and Ve alone.
