Chapter 4

The week had been busy for the both of them, but Dawn hadn't been worried... untill now, that is. This would be his first mafia meeting, and he couldn't see anything.

Too put it simply, he had been using his power so much that he was magicly exsoschen even if he still had a lot of magic left to spare.

"Don't worry, if you need to know something, it will still be there to protect you. That, and I doubt anyone wants to get on the bosses vamps bad side." Oel said. He was Alister's secretary while Leo was his bodyguard. Oel and Leo were twins, but also complete opposite.

"I know, it's just that I got so used to knowing everything, that now it's a little scary because I don't." Dawn sighed. "I just need to make sure that I don't over use it again. I might have a ton of magic now, but it won't last forever. I need to learn how to use it sparingly."

"That's very mature of you. Most kids don't learn that till they are grown up and living out on there own." Alister said from the door way. Dawn shrugged then looked at Oel and Leo who looked like they both just saw a ghost. "Though it seems like you don't need to know the future all the time."

"I might not be able to see the future right now, but my magic is still out of control from rarely ever being used. I could since you and your magic coming from a mile away." Dawn replied. "Thought I doubt my ability to since your power will ever go away. You just have so much magic, that I am surprised that you can sneak up on anyone."

Alister just laughed at that and shook his head. He smiled and walked over from were he was leaning against the door way. "I belive you magic is so strong, that they can no longer since mine. Which I thank you for, my dear. Being able to sneek around quite a bit." He said then turned to his bodyguard. "Leo, Oel, there have been some employees that have been going behind my back and been selling info to other Mafia groups. I don't care how you find out who they are, just find them."

They both smirked evily before leaving the room. "Well, I am glad that's not me. Oel is a mind magic user (psychic, move things with there minds/read minds), and Leo is a body magic user (physically able to insane one's strength/change apirince, and can rarely have the ability to heal others). You have both mind and body magic, though you are more of a healer due to you vampire side." Dawn said once they were out of hearing range. He got up from were he was sitting to stand beside the taller man. "Is it time we head to the meeting?"

"Yes, I think I have let them wait long enough. You are also correct about my magic. May I ask, what type magic user are you?" Alister ask as they started to walk to the meeting room side by side.

"I am a soul magic user, though it is often called control magic, soul magic users can do more than control other people through there soul. We soul magic users have long lifespans and can remember things from our past lives, if we have them. I don't saddly. Aperently, according to magic, no soul magic user has ever died of natural causes or old age." Dawn said as they stopped outside two large doors.

"Soul magic users are powerful, exspesaly you as a seer." Alister said with a small smile. "Makes me glad that you have chosen to stay..."

"There are many futures that lie ahead, but if I know anything, is that me staying here will lead the world to a better place in the end, mafia or not." Dawn said with a small smile before throwing the doors to the meeting room wide open, all without lifting a finger...
