Dawn was a boy who never saw the light of day till he was nine years old. He was left on his abusive uncle's doorstep before he was a month old, even though both of his parents were alive.
He never knew why. As he looked in the mirror in the morning, he would often question why he was left here. He knew his parents were alive, he had the power to see the future. His dark blue, almost black, eyes were a commen indicator of this. They were the only color he had. He had long iridescent hair, but you couldn't really tell because it was rarely ever washed. His skin was a pail almost pink, because of the lack of sunlight he resived...
Cursing from the other room brought Dawn of of his thoughts as he hurried to clean the room. Dawn never understood why he had to clean the rooms if his uncle was going to only dirty them up again with beer bottles and cigarettes. Though he did reason that it was less stuff for his uncle to throw at him.
"Boy, get in here." The man ordered. Dawn sighed, knowing that his uncle was not currently drunk, could only mean one thing... He had to meet with the mafia boss he owed almost three million dollars too. Not that his uncle knew that he knew. His stupid uncle had no idea of the power his poor little nephew possessed. If the man had any idea what was coming...
I am getting off track. Dawn finished what he was doing and went into the living room. The old man paid little attention. "This house better be spotless, and food for five no six, ready by the time I get back." He ordered before leaving.
Once Dawn was sure he was gone, he let out a sigh. The boys power had been building until it was uncomfortable to even move. Dawn now let the power unfold around him as he lifted off the ground from the sheer uncontrolled power he was letting out. With in minutes, the house was indeed spotless. Food prepared itself as the enormous amount of power wavered a fraction.
While this was going on, Dawn saw all... future and past mixed. If you were to ask him anything about history at that moment, you would get the correct answer every time. Though he would say nothing about the future. That was the unsaid rule of being a seer. Seerers weren't just gifted with the ability to see the future, but the brain power to comprehend what they were seeing. The soul to not lose themselves in all the knolage of time.
Dawn felt time as his power folded back in on himself as he heard his uncle's car in the driveway an hour before he was achilly back. He looked in a near mirror and see that his long, slightly wavy hair was still floating around him. His skin was glowing.
He took off his glamour. He was a foot smaller than he should be. He was skin and bones, and magic he reminded himself as his magic went back to normal, just in time too...
