Prudence didn't really appreciate how he could open closed doors. Then again, this man could fly without wings.
She huffed because now the reality of her emotions was settling in.
Once she was inside, she turned around to find herself alone in her room. He was gone, the door to the balcony was closed and locked again. She sighed at the tune her heart was playing right now. She was happy not to be in his presence right now but she also missed him. Prudence had felt that he had been away for the past three days.
To beat the little cold she had built up in her fingers, Prudence walked to the fireplace.
She looked into the fire, stretching her hands to feel the cold at the tips of her fingers slowly fade. Prudence thought about how she could have run away these past few days, but she instead found herself waiting here to know him more. Maybe it was to fulfill the time he had given her to decide, but she looked like she had made her decision.
