TWO HUNDRED YEARS AGO
"King, where were you?" the boy asked as he ran to his king who finally showed up.
"Father." The king muttered with head hung low.
"Does he know that you were coming here all these days?" The boy kept his hands over his king's shoulder and slightly pressed it.
"I don't know but today he had arranged a special meeting and didn't let me attend saying it is highly confidential." Yi Won Beom, the king answered while looking at his friend.
"You should have stayed at the palace for the night." Jihyoon said, his voice pooled in fear and frustration.
"I knew you would be waiting for me. How can I ignore that fact?" The king smiled while raising his eyebrow.
"It is not important at all. I want you to be safe, no matter what we have to go through."
"I can't lose a friend like you."
