PRESS MEET

"The last instruction which I have for you guys is to keep her in here. If she escapes, then there wont be much talking." Qihe warned the guards and maids who have gathered around.

"Hyung? Shall I come too?" Fai have been asking the same question since the past one hour.

"I guess, I already answered that question."

"Hyung, ask him to take me also with you." Fai's next attempt was to convince Brian.

"Sorry, I think what he said is correct. You need rest." Brian gave a small assuring smile to the boy.

"What is wrong with me coming? I am not a little kid now." Fai debated while walking behind his hyung who was getting ready for the meet.

"Its not that. You have to stay here in case of any emergency. We cant expect the people to not crowd here as its easy for them to find our place now."

"What shall I do?"

"Don't let them come in. You cant shoot or anything until I tell you so just keep an eye on the premises." Qihe patted the boy's hair and walked out followed by a couple of his men.

"Take care Hyung. Keep a watch on what you talk." He called out and went back to the room.

"Arrange extra securities in front of the mansion and till the main gate, they must make sure not even a single human gets to the place." Qihe ordered the guards who were at the front gate.

"Yes Sir."

"Don't think of escaping from here. I will hunt you all down once I am done with the public." He got into the car followed by Brian and their personal lawyer.

"Sir, I have studied our situation briefly and I have to say something important." The lawyer started to explain.

"Hmm?" Brian asked while Qihe was going through the arranged speech in his I pad.

"Its like, questions regarding his drug consumption will come to the light and then the only way out will be getting the physical examination."

"He doesn't take drugs." Brian debated.

"It doesnt matter.. Since he has been playing for the national team and based on the skill he showed, the federation has requested for it." The lawyer handed them the copy of the letter.

"What in the world?" Brian elbowed the man who just huffed at the information.

"We have to get it done so it will be a strong point from our side." The lawyer suggested.

"No. Anything else?" Qihe asked furrowing his eyebrows.

'Sir, else you will have to take the bad name and return all the wins."

"Anything else?"

"About your illegal businesses and crimes." The lawyer passed another file to Brian.

"What about it?" Qihe asked as Brian was going through the file.

"There will be charges on you. The police might have started charging the cases and filing the charge sheet."

"Have you got the information?"

"Not until now. It will be highly confidential." The lawyer kept his head low.

"That's exactly the reason why you are here. The reason why I am dumping such huge amount on you." Qihe groaned while gripping on the man's coat.

"Stop it, what are you doing? Have you lost it once again?" Brian asked pulling the boy away.

"I am sick of this. Why in the world am I feeling so helpless?" Qihe left his hands from the man's collar.

"I am sure, you are going to mess up the meet."

Minutes later...

"I will go out." Qihe said looking out at the crowd who were kept outside the barricade.

"What? Let me go inside and check if its all done. You can go once its time." Brian protested.

"No I want to talk to my fans. I am not going to avoid them."

"Qihe, you wont be able to handle them. They are not the old people who used to cheer for you." Brian tried to make the man understand.

"Brian, I am still Qihe. I am still the captain whom they cheered for. I will handle them."

He got out of the car while the crowd started pushing each other and fighting the securities. They had cards which were all against him. They were clearly disappointed and angry at him, at his actions and on top of all that, the way he hid himself from them.

"I AM HERE TO TALK TO YOU ALL." Qihe screamed so that they would stop but that didn't go as planned.

"You lied to us."

"You made us all a joke."

"We all trusted you and cheered for you."

"You were a bad role model. You played with our trust. We don't need you anymore."

The crowd continued to shower him with the negatives while Brian walked to the boy and covered him. Qihe was sad as they didn't try to listen to him. He expected them to understand him or at least hear him out but it was exactly like how Brian had said.

"I WILL MEET YOU ALL AFTER THE PRESS MEET." He forced a smile and walked into the hall.

"Its okay, you cant expect them to understand you and get along with all these so quickly. You need to give them some time." Brian patted his friend's shoulder.

"I dont know. I told Fai that I would all this and lie with him happily. Now thats my only concern." What Qihe said made Brian choke on his own saliva.

"What the hell? Did you finally agree to him?"

Before he could answer, the reporters and editors have spotted them. The guards guided him to the meeting room which was already arranged. He looked around to see the most efficient reporters and media heads waiting for him with eagle eyes. He knew that he was badly going to be exposed how much ever he try to hide.

"Did I keep you all on wait?" He asked walking to his chair.

"Celebrities like you often show up late like you own the whole program." Someone from the crowd muttered.

"Isn't it because we are not the one's who need the session? But in this case, this confession is needed for both of us. So shall we start?" He asked checking every mic in front of him.
