"Are you happy now, Fiona? You succeeded in getting your wish. Now you can rest knowing that I am not having an affair with any of the staff after I let Emily go" he told her as he turned his back on her. Not only did he feel Fiona's presence in his room, but the sorrow he felt after firing Emily remained heavy on his heart.
"No," she responded. Upon hearing her answer, Angelo turned his attention back to her and cocked an eyebrow in her general direction.
"No? Woman, what is it that you and your father want from me?" he exclaimed. Watching her stand in front of him, hands crossed across her chest, as if he owed her something,
"You made me a promise, and the last time I checked, aren't you Sorrentino's men of your word?" She probed Angelo, implying that he was not a man of his word.
"Be careful with your words, woman" he warned her sternly. Fiona backed off, sensing Angelo's rage, but just enough for her to apply some pressure.
