Cindy scoffed at the annoyance on her mother's face. Gina obviously wanted to argue, but Cindy cut her off. "I don't care if you don't believe me, Mom. Your disbelief won't change that Sebastian is in love with me."
Cindy walked upstairs, leaving Gina stunned by her daughter's defiance.
"What's wrong with you, Cindy?" Gina murmured. She sighed as she grabbed her phone and searched for Winter's contact.
Her fingers hovered on the call button, but she decided not to call Winter.
Gina hesitated because she was afraid of getting an answer she didn't want to hear.
Winter already told Gina that she didn't love her second husband, so Winter's new husband might share the same dislike for her.
Gina had a weak heart and didn't want to be distressed by the idea that Cindy might have ruined her sister's marriage.
Thus, Gina put her phone down and took a deep breath. 'Let's just wait for Winter to come so I can ask her directly.'
