M for Multiverse

Evan black was walking in a dark pathway, surrounded by forest, and move towards the direction he heard as if someone is calling him.

Evan saw a dark shadow of a woman, which he has seen somewhere. Shadow hugged Evan with care and said:

"You have grown my beloved son, I am sorry for leaving you alone. I had no other way. But I have left something for you that may help you."

Saying that shadow disappeared, and tears started flowing from his eyes. Evan rubbed his eyes with his hands.

Evan doesn't know why he felt his heart hurt when the shadow disappeared. But know that shadow was someone important to him.

With teary eyes, Evan woke up from his sleep. He looked around his surroundings only to confirm he was in his room.

Evan (POV)

I was living with my grandparents from my childhood. My mother committed suicide in the nearby river one year after giving birth to me.

From what i knew was my mother fell in love in college with a man. But that man betrayed my mother for another woman and my mother lost her mind after that.

He played with my mother and destroyed her happy life.

My mother used to be a cheerful person, as mentioned by my grandmother. She was also a shy character, but everything was lost when her lover betrayed her.

He was not there when she needed him most. She wanted to kill herself but can't because of me, thus gave birth to me bearing all the sadness of betrayal.

One year after my birth she was becoming stable. But fate again betrayed her.

My mother got untreatable cancer. Worrying about the negative influence that may cause our lives because of cancer, she ended her life in the river.

She lived as a good mother, but unable to accompany me. Remembering the shadow I can only think of my mother.

I was living my life happily with my grandparents, which was everything for me.

But tragedy struck again, with my grandparents got killed in gunfire by a terrorist in the shopping mall. I also got injured and my lower body got paralyzed.

I was unlucky enough to survive but still in the memories of my family I tried to live a normal life with the money I got for the death of my grandparents. But it was never peaceful, inability to do things on my own was a big worry of me.

But here I am now again in the hospital for surgery on my spine for paralysis treatment. I have a 40% chance I can get cured after surgery, but I also have a high chance of death. I wanted to live a normal life even under high risk. So, I am waiting for my fate.

One hour later, Evan's surgery started, but it still resulted in his death.

Evan's soul was now walking in a place covered with mist. Later, he saw a person sitting in front of a PC typing something. See that person is focused on typing something, Evan decided to wait.

After, 3 hours the person finally completed his work and turned towards Evan.

Author: V – Who are you?

Evan – My name is Evan Black. I only remember I was given anesthesia. But when woke up I am already here.

Author: V – Oh, so you died. Wait, I will look into it.

Author: V checked his tablet for details of Evan. After reading for some time.

Author: V - My name is Author: V, I am responsible for your reincarnation. You were not destined for reincarnation, but it was your mother's last wish for you. Your mother is living a happy life in another world with all her previous world memories erased from her.

Evan – My mother. Thank you for doing it for her. She suffered more because of the memories of betrayal. Will I be reborn?

Author: V – You will be reborn in an island world called Ionarth, Code: VV9 that is still not inhabited. You will be the first human in that world. I am not planning to send any other reincarnation to this world. You will be transported to an island that is the only land in Ionarth. But it was big enough for your future multiverse travel.

Evan – Will I get any powers?

Author: V – I will give you a DX-1000 body. Which is a new type of human body that is researched. Which will be very useful for you. It can adapt to any world. It has good potential. It can't be cloned or copied by any techniques. So, don't worry about becoming a research subject. Your memory storage will be like a normal human, but very secure like anti-hacking tech in your mind. So, no worry about someone getting in your mind. It will show the person an illusion not the original memories to avoid problems.

Planet – Ionarth.

Ionarth is a planet with 99.9% of it was covered with water. While 0.01% is a small island, which has a radius of 500 kilometers.

On the island, the animal habitats are very few, as Ionarth is a planet of aquatic living organisms. Near the coastal region, a white mansion was standing on the cliff.

The cliff was made of white-colored rocks. The white mansion looked like it was one with a white rock cliff. There was no sound of waves on the coast and it was peaceful.

Inside the mansion, the body of a child was forming from the dark purple-colored particles that appeared from the void.

When the formation of the child was completed it floated into the hands of a silver-colored robot. The silver robot was controlled by the Silver A.I in the mansion.

Evan was surprised to reborn as a 1-year-old child. But was also happy to have a robot to take care of him. Evan was thankful towards the Author: V for this arrangement.

The silver robot didn't have any information about Evan, it only knows Evan is his master and he should take care of /assist him. He should be a father and mother to Evan.

The silver robot gave Evan some fresh milk from the cow near the mansion and brought Evan to the cradle to let him sleep.

Evan decided to call the silver his father. As he will act as his family in the future. Evan was also tired as his body started to adapt to the environment of Ionarth. Child Evan started to have good sleep.
