I waited for the water but Kay was taking a long time. I called Kofi but he just wasn't opening his eyes. I don't know how he came here. I didn't know if he ever saw Lucien. But what about the note he passed to the guard. Why were all the bad things happening all at once? I just didn't understand why would anyone hurt Kofi. Unlike me, he was a polite soul. He never talked back to anyone including his enemies. He was a calm person. There was a thing or few that I could learn from him.
Kay came carrying on a tumbler of water. I watched him give Kofi a little bit of water. I was also thirsty but didn't ask him for water. He looked concerned and confused.
"What is it?", I asked.
" It is absolute chaos here. He was asking us to raid the entire forest again. We aren't supposed to come back till we have Lucien", he said.
"But he said that he is willing to exchange himself in return for me", I told him.
