I wasted no time reaching out to Frank, my ex-boyfriend, knowing his expertise might be the key to tracking down the people who had abducted Luciana.
Everything had happened so fast on the night that Luciana was kidnapped, that I didn't even know how best to explain. But then, meeting with Frank seemed to be the only way to track down those bastards who had abducted Luciana.
It had been two years since Frank and I had broken up, but for the sake of my mission with Jack, I set aside any remaining personal feelings. This wasn't about us—it was about something far bigger.
After a quick exchange, we agreed to meet at a nearby restaurant. Determined, I headed to the meeting spot, pushing down any remnants of old memories. Frank might be the best chance we had in finding Luciana.
