The drive home

Yukio:

I made Az drive so I could sit in the back with Luci, I could tell he wasn't in the best mood. As soon as I got in he flopped his head on my shoulder and pulled out another cigarette and stuck it in his mouth. Chk! Chk! Poof! He held the flame to the end of the cigarette until of glowed, I felt him inhale deeply and exhale slowly as if all his stress was washing away. "You really shouldn't smoke those you know" I said for what felt like the millionth time, "shut up dummy" he said from the base of my neck. He turned his head again to take another hit but I grabbed his hand and held it away from his mouth, then I leaned in staring into his deep green eyes. "You should really listen to me sometimes you know" I said softly, his face went bright red and pulled away grumbling something about me being a dumbass and looked out the car window. We got back to the apartment with little traffic and we walked in silence up the stairs, I opened the door and Luci stumbled in and crashed straight onto the couch closing his eyes. "Hey Yuki can you make some food?" he said sleepily, "sure" I reply. I go over the cupboard and pull out two lots of spicy packet ramen and put them in a pot. As it's cooking on the stove I walk over to him sleeping on the couch and lean down to kiss him on the forehead. Suddenly his head moves underneath me and instead of my lips landing on his forehead we are face to face and I can feel him grinning as he leans in to kiss me firmly. I break away blushing and puffing slightly, "I really need to get the ramen" I say quietly, "nope" he says defiantly and pulls me down on top of him " you're warm, sleep with me". I give in on the condition of being able to turn the ramen off so as not to burn the apartment down. It's peaceful listening to Luci breathing and in mere seconds a wave of sleep crashes over me.
