I got the job! No more being Natal's lackey for me! I am now the official head chef of Lovebird Café.

The owner, Lacy Linden, is not at all what I expected. She's a little scattered and definitely quirky, but nice. I think we'll work well together.

Chef Natal was TICKED that I couldn't even give two week notice. How could I know Lacy would hire me on the spot? Or that she'd have so much for me to do? Bottom line, I have no regrets! Natal is a class A jerk and I'm so grateful to finally be out from under him.
