Aftermath (2)

Lisa slowly entered Robb's house. Maybe they were so deep in their lovemaking that they didn't hear the unlocking sound of the door. Lisa saw the clothes scattered, and sound coming from one of the room. She knew what they are doing. She knew it was wrong to enter other people's house, after all, they didn't have any relationship, to begin with. He never gave her hope. It was just her wishful thinking. She knew she was wrong to start with. But jealousy is very f***ing thing, it totally changed her. She took a knife from the kitchen, slowly walked toward the door where the sound was coming.

She was about to touch his room's door to open it. She heard.

"Ummm..WHAT?? Lisa ummm.. proposed to you .. Ahhhh" His GF said while panting

"Yes, darling. I was also shocked." He said

"Then what you say?? huh.. Did you say yes ?? after all, she is your childhood friend and she knows you longer than me ." His Gf said pouting.

"No way darling, I can never betray you. I love you the most you know. I simply rejected her."

"Ohh so you don't have any feelings for her"

"yes... don't tell me you are jealous..hahaha " Then he kissed her.

"Robb, I still feel like its dream. We are finally marrying after 1 month." she giggled.

"It's not a dream, darling. You are the love of my life." He replied.

Lisa heard the word 'marriage', she was shocked.

The knife she was holding, fell from her hand.

"thud"

The couple inside the room heard the sound, made them jump out of the bed immediately.

"OH shit," He groaned. Robb covered his Gf with a blanket and himself wore his boxer.

"Who's there?"Robb shouted.

Lisa nowhere to go, took her knife from the ground and opened the door.

"God damn it, Lisa. It's you?? Why are you here? Why on the fucking hell, you are holding a knife?" He shouted

She came back to her sense when she heard his shout. Then she realized she is holding a knife.

Before she can answer him. He again shouted.

"Don't tell me, Lisa, that you are trying to do something stupid. For GOD's sake Lisa, I already said NO to you why can't you understand that."

"But why?" She said slowly

"WHAT?? What did you say?" He said frowning

"WHY??" She shouted.

"WHY? I have known you before her. She just came to our life when we were 15. Why? You choose her. I was better than her in everything. I loved you more than anything. WHY? You choose her not me." She cried out.

"You know that answer better than me Lisa. You know that. Your heart knows it. Let me ask you Why you love me when there are far better guys than me around you? Why? "

"that..that's because you are the only one for me."

"my answer is the same, Lisa. She is the only one for me." He pointed towards his GF or can say fiancee now.

"NO, NO you can't do that nooo." She groaned and looked towards the naked girl under blanket angrily.

His Gf noticed that Lisa is looking at her. She (GF) said hesitantly, "look, Lisa, I know you are angry but you have to understand. You can't get everything you want, sometimes you have to learn to let go too. Okay. Be Calm. We can talk ..ok plz throw your knife away...ok. For god's sake, we are family. You are my cousin. You should be happy for me, right."

"Hahahaha, Yes, cousin. We have to learn to let go, so why don't you let go of him. And let me have him. After all, he was supposed to be mine from start." She said. She came towards her cousin with a knife on her hand.

"LISA" Robb shouted. He thought she would do something to her.

He came forward and snatch the knife from her as she was not gripping it tightly.

He grabbed her shoulder and shook her. "Are you nuts?? Lisa. Get out from your dreamland. Goddamn it. You were about to hurt her, for Christ sake. She is pregnant with my child, DAMN IT. YOU were about to kill two lives. Stupid."

"Look at you, you don't love me, Lisa. Love means sacrifice. Your love for me is possession. It's not love it's your obsession. You understand, Damn it."

Her footing lost from the ground when she heard "pregnant", "two lives".

It was Robb who was grabbing her otherwise she would have surely fallen to the ground.

She wasn't hearing anything what Robb was saying. Her mind was blank. She slowly regained her strength, turned around and started walking towards the door.

Robb let go of her shoulder and shouted from back " Lisa, don't ever show up in front of me again. Next time don't expect me to be this kind."

Lisa didn't hear anything. She didn't know how she came out from apartment building. She felt her chest pain increasing more and more. She needs to eat her medicine, call Dr Mike, he is the only person who can help her right now. She noticed she doesn't have her phone and purse. She thought she had to run, run away from here, look for her brother or parents otherwise she will die for sure.

She ran away from his apartment building towards the road.

As she was crossing the road, she heard her brother's voice calling her name. She stopped in the middle of the road. She turned back and saw her brother. She smiled. Just as she was about to call 'brother' loudly and run to hug him.

"Crash"

Her body flies towards the side of the road.

"Thud"

She fell hard. Her body was crushed. She saw her brother's figure getting blurry. She tried to call her brother. But didn't have the energy to. Slowly her consciousness was fading away. She thought this is the end. Closed her eyes.

Its gonna be a very long sleep, she thought.
