CHAPTER 6

I started running while cursing under my breath as I couldn't find any hospital nearby. I ran for a while before seeing a hospital and I quickly rushed into it.

"Nurse....come help her." I shouted and the nurses rushed towards me.

"What happened to her?" One of the nurses asked and I explained everything to her. They took her to a ward and called the doctor who entered the ward. I walked up and down impatiently until the doctor came out.

"How is she now?" I asked the doctor immediately she came out of the ward.

"She only fainted before of stress. She seemed to have been extremely stressed. Is anything going on in her house? School? Anywhere?" The doctor asked and I nodded.

"She's being bullied in her school and...." I paused and looked at the doctor.

"Just take care of her,what she needs now is love and care." The doctor said and I nodded.

"By the way,who are you to her? Her brother? Classmate?" She asked.

"I'm... I'm her boyfriend." I replied and she nodded.

"Ohh okay,well go to the register and sign a paper,also who's going to pay for her treatment." She asked.

"I'll do that doctor don't worry....also when can I go in to see her?" I asked.

"Well she's unconscious but you can go in once you're done with the payment." The doctor replied and I quickly rushed to the register,signed the document and payed the bills before heading back to her ward and going in.

I got in and sat down on the chair beside her and stared at her,she looked really beautiful while sleeping. I stared at her flat nose and her pink plump lips,I then looked at her clothes and saw that she was wearing a hospital gown. I closed my eyes and remembered the fear I saw in her beautiful brown eyes and I felt bad.

"I'm sorry for all the pain I've put you through." I told her as I stroke her long hair.

"I'm sorry that you're in this condition because of me. I'm sorry that I have been a big time jerk to you even though you're only just a new student, I'm really sorry Christine." I said still stroking her hair when my eyes fell on her pink plump lips and the urge to kiss her enveloped me.

"Nooo Max,pull yourself together,she's unconscious." My subconscious told me and I stood up and started pacing around the room.

I continued pacing around the room until I heard a faint sigh and I quickly rushed towards her bed,sat on the chair and held her hand.

"Are you okay?" I asked her but I got no response.

"Maybe she sighed in her unconscious state." My subconscious told me and I was about to let go of her hand when she started talking.

"Please believe me,I didn't steal it." I heard her say and I felt terrible.

"I don't know how it got there." She continued.

"Please believe me." She said again as tears started coming out of her eyes and I felt disgusted with myself.

I quickly stood up and hurried to the wall and started punching the wall very hard with my fists.

"Look at all the pain you've caused her." I said as I hit the wall.

"You're the reason she's in this state." I said as I hit the wall again and blood started coming out of my hand.

"She's traumatized all because of you." I said and hit the wall again.

"You're a monster." I said again and this time I hit my face and not the wall.

"No...Noah!!" She said and I immediately rushed towards her.

"I... I'm not Noah, I'm Max. I'm here for you,Noah isn't." I said and she slowly opened her eyes.

"You're going to be fine." I said and she fully opened her eyes and looked at me. When she saw me,she became scared and I saw pain in her eyes.

"Please don't hurt me." She begged as tears started dropping from her eyes.

"No no no...I won't hurt you I promise." I assured her and was about to touch her but she moved away and sat up. She then looked at my bleeding hands before looking at me and my swollen cheek.

"What happened....are you...." She wanted to speak but immediately kept quiet.

"I'm sorry for the pain I put you through. I did this to myself because I feel guilty. You can hit me too if you want." I said and took her hand and started hitting my face with her hand but she released her hand from my grip.

"You look hurt, should I call the doctor?" She asked and I shook my head.

"Noo...I deserve this for what I did to you." I replied and I saw her calm down before slowly raising her hand to touch my face.

"Ouch!!" I said when she touched my face and she looked at me with pity.

"You did this to yourself?" She asked and I nodded slightly.

"Because of me?" She asked again and I looked at her eyes and saw that she was about to cry again.

"Why are you crying? You shouldn't cry because of me, please don't cry!!" I said as I wiped the tears off her face.

"Why did you frame me? Why were you wicked towards me? What did I ever do to you?" She asked and I kept quiet.

What was I going to tell her? Was I going to say that it was because I couldn't get into her panties? Or because she had embarrassed me in front of majority of the school? Or because I wanted to show her that I was the boss? What was I going to tell her.

"You don't know do you?" She asked amidst tears and I felt bad.

"I'm really sorry for all the pain I have put you through, please can you find a place in your heart to forgive me. I promise I'll prove your innocence and make you come back to school again." I assured her but she shook her head.

"Don't bother I'm leaving anyways, I'm not coming back I'll leave for good as that is what is going to make you and everyone happy." She said sadly.

"Noo please don't leave....I won't want you to leave and so would....Noah. Please don't go,I'll do anything to make you forgive me." I begged her.

"I don't hold grudges,I have forgiven you but I can't come back to that school." She replied and I felt terrible.

"Please don't leave,you cant leave. I won't let you leave, please." I begged as I cupped her face with my hands.

"Let go of her right this minute." I heard and I knew that voice a little too well,it was....

"Noah!!" She exclaimed and I looked behind and saw Noah glaring at me.

"What did you do to her? Why is she in the hospital?" Noah asked in anger and I was about to talk but she spoke instead.

"It's not him, infact he was the one who saved me and brought me here if not I would have been raped by some disgusting men." She replied and i looked at her. He quickly went to her side and held her hand.

"I'm the reason,if you hadn't been accused and suspended, you'd still be in school and those men wouldn't have harassed you." I told her and she looked at me with pity.

"I'm glad you finally said something sensible for once in your life." Noah told me in anger.

"Don't say that to him Noah." She told him and I looked at her before standing up to leave the ward.

"Max....thank you." She said and I looked back at her and smiled before leaving the ward.
