Taking change

She keeps waiting for his call because she got the information that he’s back with his wife Sandra but up until now no call was coming from Alex.

She decide to call him one last time and he picked up.

“She’s left you alone and that is why you picked up my call huh?” She starts to question him.

"What do you want, I’m with my wife right now,” Alex said.

‘Cut it, Alex, I know she’s not there with you, and I also know you are avoiding my calls.”

“What do you want?” Alex asks again.

“Okay, let's do it this way, you promise to marry me after your wedding with that girl, and I agreed, now is my turn, and I  hope you will agree with mine”.

"What if I said no?” Alex asks to get her reaction.

“Hahaha” she laugh, “you won’t dare Alex, don’t joke with me” she hang up on him before he could say another word.

“Shit” Alex curse “What is she planning now?”

Evelyn arrived at his house after a few minutes.

“You can’t come here!” Alex whispered grinding his teeth at her, he didn’t expect her to come here.

“Why? Is it because of your wife? That won’t be a problem because I will soon be her co-wife”

“Stop Evelyn, I promise Sandra I won’t hurt her anymore, so I’m  telling you now, I can’t marry you, so just go”

“Hahaha, are you kidding me? I left everything for you, Alex, I lost a lot because of you, don’t joke with me Alex” she grin at him wickedly.

“We only had sex, is no big deal, you can move on, I’m married now”.  He manages to say.

Evelyn slapped Alex across his face but before she knew it, Sandra retaliate by slapping her back.

“What?” Evelyn asked holding her face in her hand.

“This will be your last, you raised your hands on my husband, I kill you.  Now get out of my house!” She pushed Evelyn out of the house and Alex just stare.

He was waiting for want Sandra will do to him after sending Evelyn out of the house.

“Let's go in” was the only thing she said to him.

“Huh?”

"Let's go inside, and next time she talked to you, let me know,” she said to him and Alex nods, he couldn’t believe that Sandra didn’t get angry at him.

“Are you okay?” he asks her.

“Yes, I’m fine”

“Are you not angry?”

“About what?” Sandra asked behaving as if nothing happened.

“About Evelyn, she was here”

“Hmm, I’m your wife now, she’s  not allowed to come here, understand?” Alex nod and went with her, but he was worried.

What will Evelyn do now, she won’t let Sandra go free for what happened, he wanted to tell Sandra that she shouldn’t have slapped Evelyn, but he kept quiet before she turned against him.

“You will not talk to her again,” Sandra said and he agreed.

Evelyn went home angry at herself for being a fool for Alex. She went to her father.

“What is wrong?”

“Is Alex”

Lincoln smiled mischievously, I know he will do this, but not to worry, I have a plan.
