Horrified

“Fine, I’m not here to harm you or anything, I just want to say I’m sorry about everything”

“And what has that got to do with bringing back my parents?” Sandra asks Blaze getting upset but Pat asks Blaze to go out of the room.

“I’m leaving this place” she got up to leave. Pat and Brian did all they could to stop her but her mind is made up. She is going to live life without any of them.

Holding her baby in her arms, she steps out of Brian's place determined to make something out of herself and to pay every one of them that has hurt her.

“You need to call Alex,” Pat told her brother.

Brain did and he was there in a minute.

“I didn’t know she was coming here, I begged her to forgive me, I thought she was going home, where is she?”

“She left”

“Shit!” Alex cursed and ran out like a mad man looking for Sandra and his baby.

“What?” Clara couldn’t understand why Alex would do that, she was busy preparing for the wedding, and now what?

They started looking for her everywhere, but no one saw her, she’s now missing.

“Is all my fault," Alex blamed himself.

Sandra finds herself a place far away from Alex and everyone, the house was so small and full of dirt. Is like the owners are no longer alive or maybe they left town “We have to manage,” she said to the little one and she giggle.

Sandra let her baby down and she crawl around the place while she got busy cleaning up the house.

“Hey. Don’t touch that” she will always tell the little one anytime she grabs something to put into her mouth.

Before Sandra could finish with her cleaning, she was surprised as she watch in horror the little girl now sitting and lots of rats dancing and clapping in front of her while she giggle and smile and sometimes she even clap along with the rats.

She wanted to shout, but out of fear, she held her mouth with her fingers.

She watch them for some time and called out her name.

She turned and chuckle at Sandra and the rats all ran away.

She picked her up from that spot and took her to a cleaner place.

She looked at her, but no! She shakes her head, “my daughter can not be like Alex, she’s a normal child,” Sandra reasons and ignored her fear, she went about her busy and looked for something to start selling.

She is good at doing petty business, so finding something to do was not a problem for her.

Weeks passed and no one knows where to find Sandra, Alex cried and cried but his tears could not solve a thing.

Evelyn, came to see him because he has refused to pick up her calls nor reply to her text messages.

“What do you want?” Clara asks Evelyn as she opens the door.

“I’m here for Alex, not you?”

“Alex is not around,” Clara said waiting to bounce on her.

“But that is his car,” she pointed to Alex's car parked at the entrance of the house.
