Setting me up for failure
Director Fu looked straight into her eyes and addressed her, "You are talentless, you know nothing but cry and laugh when in a film. Your pretty face makes you a vase to be admired. I cannot, do not and will absolutely not give you any role in my film!"
Ning Lu could not believe that she was being looked down on in her own company!
Ke Muxu on the other hand yelled, "Do you think you will get any funding with that attitude of yours?"
Director Fu looked at Ke Muxu and then at Ning Lu.
He did not apologize like the two were expecting. Instead, he gazed at his watch and said,
"I did not mean any harm with my words. It is just that…I thought this was common belief! Everyone talks about it; I have seen it with my own eyes too! Unless you want my film to fail then I will take into consideration your request but if you want it to succeed, then even you know how bad her acting is, we will be setting ourselves up for losses!"
