I Am A Bad Guy!

"What is taking him so long?" Na Ae Ra looked at the time on the round wall clock. The time was 9.30 and he hadn't arrived yet.

It was her second time heating up the food thinking that he would come any minute and be hungry. Because, he never liked eating food alone outside. Ae Ra looked at the messages sent to him, but there was no reply too. The messages were seen but, there was no reply.

Ae Ra thought that he might be busy that's why he didn't reply. But as time passed her feeling of him coming back home turned inauspicious. Her heart started to run wild with every second passing by. Her mind gave her discouraging thoughts and her eyes started to get blurry.

"There is still time. Maybe he is stuck in traffic!" She said to comfort her wild heart and her discouraging thoughts. Just then, her phone rang.

Without looking at the Caller ID, she immediately picked her phone and said "Why were you not picking up your call, Oppa? I was so worried! Are you alright?" With a racing heart, Ae Ra asked questions showing her concern for him.

On the other hand, Seo Young looked at the screen to confirm whether she had called the correct person or not. When she noticed that she was calling the correct person, she became confused. She cleared her throat and said with a hesitant voice "Umm... Ae Ra, it is me Seo Young!"

"Ohh!" Bringing her phone down, she looked at the caller ID, It was Seo Young. Her heart broke as she got to know that it was Seo Young and not Choi Yu Shik. She gave a silly laugh and said "What happened, Seo Young? You called?"

Seo Young immediately cut to the chase and said "I looked into Yoon Jun Ki, the son of Yoon Du Shik. I couldn't find much but their was one thing which I thought would be important to share with you. Before starting up as the owner of the company, Yoon Jun Ki worked as a nu...." Just as she was completing her sentence, she heard Ae Ra's voice. "I will talk to you later, okay? Good Bye!"

"But.." Seo Young heard the disconnecting beeps. She sighed and said "I need to look more into this person, Yoon Jun Ki!"

As Ae Ra was talking, she heard the sound of the main door open. That is why she immediately hung up the phone, so that she could speak with Yu Shik.

"Oppa, You came!" She exclaimed excitedly and immediately took the dishes back into the kitchen to heat them up. "You might be hungry. Freshen up and come, till then the food will be heated." Yu Shik changed his shoes into clog slippers. Throwing his keys on the table, he kept his hands in his pocket and looked at the table which was decorated.

Keeping the food inside the microwave, Ae Ra stood near the dining table. She gave him a smile and shyly looked down. "Since we didn't go on a date from quite a few months, I thought that we could have a candle light dinner at home." Just as she finished speaking, the microwave oven made a clicking sound and she said "I will get the food. It is heated."

She then hurriedly went and placed the plates on the table. She looked at him and he was still standing there. "Why don't you go and freshen up? The food will get cold again." Ae Ra saw him turning around and going inside the room.

"I wonder if he is still angry with me." She rested her elbow on the table and waited for him to come.

10 minutes later, she heard the door open. She stood up and looked at him with a smile. "Ah, You came. Come and have a seat!" She pulled back his chair so that he could sit. Yu Shik wiped his face with the towel and threw the towel on the sofa. He sat on the chair which Ae Ra had pulled for him. He looked at the candles kept on the table.

Ae Ra gave a sheepish smile as she saw him looking at the candles. "I will switch of the lights now." She walked near the entrance of the house and switched of the lights of the living room. She kept the entrance lights open so that the whole house doesn't become dark.

The living room became dark except for the light coming from the kitchen and the light coming from the two burning candles. Ae Ra smiled and sat in front of him. She put the beef curry in his plate and then in hers. She also placed the grilled sausages in his plate. As she didn't like sausages much, she took just 2 sausages and kept the plate of sausages in front of him.

She took the bowl and placed rice in it. Handing him the chopsticks, she said "Let us eat!"

Yu Shik took the chopsticks. As he placed his chopsticks inside the rice bowl, he peeked at her. Ae Ra was so much hungry after waiting for him for so long. As soon as she gave him the chopsticks, she immersed herself in eating.

"I am sorry!" Yu Shik said as he saw her eating so innocently. No matter what, he could not stay angry with her for long. Ae Ra was keeping her chopsticks down as she took the piece of sausage in her mouth. Her hand stopped in mid air as she looked at him with wide eyes.

From the light of the candles, she saw Yu Shik's face. He was looking at her with sorrowful eyes. It looked like as if he was in pain.

"I'm sorry, Ae Ra! It was my fault. I should not have behaved like that." Yu Shik said as he saw her looking at her. He could not hold his emotions inside any more.

He got up and walked towards her. Embracing her in a hug, he started crying. "I'm really sorry for my behavior, Ae Ra! I made you wait. I made you starve. I am sorry!" Yu Shik knelt on his knees in front of her and started to hit himself. "I am a bad guy, Ae Ra! I am really bad!"
