Chapter 20 : Provocation

On the way home, neither Isabella nor Michael started the conversation, they were both silents as they walked straight ahead. Michael brought Isabella's two plastic bags and only focused on looking ahead while the beautiful girl walking next to him was busy thinking about what had just happened. Isabella glanced at the blonde-haired boy beside her.

"Who exactly is this person? How could he be this calm after what he just did? And why did he help me? This guy is weird I have to watch out for him." Isabella whispered in her heart. Without realizing it, Isabella had been glancing at the young man beside her for a long time. Michael who felt Isabella watching him couldn't help but smile.

"Am I so handsome that the princess can't take her eyes off me?" Michael said turning to Isabella with a smile on his face

Isabella who heard Michael's words came to her senses and immediately turned her face the other way. But not long after, Isabella remembered something, she immediately glanced at Michael or maybe at the item the blonde-haired boy was carrying.

"Give it back I can bring it myself." Isabella pointed at the two plastic bags that Michael was carrying.

"It's okay princess, just let me carry it. I can't let you carry this heavy stuff. As a man, my pride will fall if I let a beautiful girl like you carry a heavy burden like this." Michael smiled at Isabella's reaction, which only pouted and felt very annoyed.

"I don't care, give me the two plastic bags! I can carry it myself." Isabella was about to take her belongings but not until she grabbed them did Michael get in her way. Making the beautiful girl even more annoyed with the blonde-haired boy.

"You are so annoying! I said give it to me! Or I will. . ." It wasn't until Isabella finished what she wanted to say that her cell phone suddenly rang. Isabella also ignored Michael's strange smile and immediately took her cellphone and picked up the call without seeing who was calling her.

"Miss Kim, are you home already?" Gabriella's bass voice suddenly made Isabella's heart beat much faster than before.

"Mister Cho? What is it? Why did you call me at this hour?" Isabella asked nervously. Inwardly she was cursing herself for not seeing who called her.

'How could I be this stupid and reckless!? Why can't I see who called me first? If Mr Cho knew I was with Michael right now he would be very angry. I'd better be careful not to get caught.' Isabella thought about how to keep the situation from getting more complicated.

"Am I not allowed to call you at this hour Miss Kim? Usually, I also call you at this hour?" Gabriel asked softly Isabella.

"Yes yes I know but now is not the right time Mr Cho," Isabella answered in a frustrated tone. Unaware of what she had said.

"Hey~ Princess. What do you mean not the right time? Shouldn't you have gone home and are now home?" Isabella became more and more shocked and frustrated because of not only Gabriel but also Kiki. They both are together. If they both found out Isabella was sure there would be a war later.

"Kiki why are you together with Mr Cho?"

"Well, the princess already knew this morning when we came to pick you up to go with us, but the princess refused. So the two of us went to finish the task our parents gave us to finish some paperwork in the company. And because at first, we wanted to travel with you so I didn't bring my vehicle and now I'm with Riel on the way home. But earlier Sarah said that the princess was at home alone so she asked us to accompany you, and now the two of us are on our way to your house." What Kiki said was like a bullet that was shot into Isabella's head.

It turns out that Gabriel and Kiki are on their way to her house, what if they see her with Michael. Unconsciously Isabella ruffled her hair.

'Argghhhh!!! Why did this have to happen to me!! Time to go home was intercepted by thugs and now I have to be with this dangerous freak. What else will happen if Gabriel and Kiki see us walking together?!! Oh my God, why did this have to happen?' Because she was too busy with her thoughts, Isabella didn't realize that her phone was still connected.

"Hello~ Princess? Are you home already? Or still on the way?" Kiki asked confused because he didn't hear Isabella's voice. Because Isabella was at a loss as to what to do, she subconsciously didn't answer Kiki's question, afraid that if she said something wrong and Gabriel and Kiki became suspicious of her.

Because she was confused, Isabella didn't realize that someone had been watching her for a long time. The blonde-haired boy smiled at Isabella's frustrated face, which he thought was very funny and rare. Because usually the beautiful girl beside him always looks patient, cheerful and always smiles sweetly and sincerely, it's rare to see her confused and frustrated like now. Suddenly an idea came to him. Michael grabbed Isabella's arm, which was still holding her cell phone, and immediately pointed it at him.

"Hey, you two are you guys coming to meet your princess? Unfortunately, she is currently with me. And we just finished having fun~" Michael spoke in such a seductive tone that Isabella immediately pulled her hand back.

"What did you just do?!" Isabella growled at Michael who just smiled innocently and spoke in a loud voice again.

"Oh~ Come on don't be shy princess~ Don't tell me you forgot what we just did together earlier~ Hmmm." Michael's voice sounded like he was sulking and that irritated Isabella even more.

"Don't be stupid Michael! Neither of us did anything!" Angry Isabella glared at the blond-haired youth beside her. Because she was busy fighting with Michael, the beautiful girl didn't realize that the call was still connected, she hurriedly explained what happened to Gabriel and Kiki so that there would be no misunderstanding between them.

But before Isabella could speak first, Michael took the lead on this beautiful girl again.

"Princess~ Come here quickly. The air is getting colder here, come on, I'll take you to your house. Or you can invite me to just drink tea or a snack, right?" Isabella felt that what Michael was doing right now was to provoke Gabriel and Kiki.

"That's enough Michael don't talk anymore!" Isabella said firmly to Michael who just smiled and shrugged his shoulders unconcerned then he walked back ahead of Isabella. But after a few steps, he stopped and turned back to Isabella who was trying to explain to Gabriel and Kiki.

"Wait Mr Cho Kiki I can explain everything. Is. . ." Just as Isabella was about to start explaining Gabriel's bass voice interrupted her.

"Miss Kim, can you turn on the loudspeaker?" Gabriel asked in a low voice.

"But why Mr Cho?" Isabella became increasingly afraid of what would happen next.

"Just do it. Now." Gabriel's voice sounded so gloomy and serious that it was rare for him to speak like that. Finally, because she didn't know what else to do, Isabella obeyed what Gabriel said.

"Listen you bastard if you ever do anything to Isabella I'll make you feel sorry you were born into this world. And I'll Make You See And Feel What It's Like To Live In Hell. Let's see later." Gabriel said seriously and emphasized every word - he said. Which made Isabella for some reason be very scared and goosebumps. In contrast to the blonde-haired youth he just stood still and then with a smirk on his face he answered Gabriel's words.

"Owhh~ This must be fun. I will look forward to it." He said still with a scary grin on his face then not long after that the call was ended by Gabriel. When Isabella tried to call him back but there was no answer at all and Kiki didn't answer his phone either.

Isabella became increasingly frustrated with her current situation and could only curse under her breath for her carelessness. Without realizing that Michael had walked a long way, leaving her still standing where she was. Isabella immediately ran after Michael while thinking about how to keep the situation from getting worse.
