Chpt #30 - Going back

The 3 days of the conference is over and Ryan still didn't manage to bring Nancy back.

Ryan went to see Nancy to bid farewell to her and to remind her the SOHO will always be there to welcome her back.

"Mr Gu! Something big happen! Our customers are going to sue us because most of them are getting food poisoning!!" Anna calls Ryan.

"FOOD POISONING? WHAT??" Ryan was shocked upon hearing it. Desmond and Nancy was there too. Without even looking at Nancy, Ryan hangs up the call and straight away went back to Shanghai to settle the issues in SOHO hotel.

Nancy was hesitant and wanted to follow along but she doesn't have the courage to do or even say it. Thus she walks away.

The next day, the issue went viral in douyin, newspaper and online news as well. Alot of guest are asking of medical fee, compensation or if not they will sue SOHO hotel.

Nancy was so worried and she really wanted to fly back just to see how she can help.

5 hours later, both Desmond and Ryan reaches Shanghai and drives straight to SOHO hotel for the meeting.

"Media team, make sure no one post anything further and spread any news online before our investigations are done" Ryan distributed the task and went to the CCTV room to check on the footage to see if there's anyone who sabotage their food.

"Hey Anna, Nancy here. I heard something happen to SOHO. How's the situation now?" Nancy was worried and gave Anna a call.

Anna explains the whole situation via the call.

Nancy then calls in the head chef, "Chef Tan, anything suspicious movement happening recently? Did anyone new suddenly joins the team? Is anyone missing that is suspicious? Cause i know very well how particular you and your team are when it comes to food hygiene"

Chef Tan thinks hard before replying her.

"So far there isn't but i have a new kid, Jian He, that just join us a week ago as an intern chef. But today he flew back to his hometown in Guangzhou saying that his mother is sick. Oh wait i just saw his profile and that his mother past away years ago!"

Nancy calms him down and asked for his name and address and starts searching up on him. Nancy told Mr Tian the situation and flew over to Guangzhou.

Chef Tan went to find Ryan about Jian He and they continue to view the cctv on him for the past 1 week. Chef Tan didn't mention anything about Nancy flying or knowing about Jian He.

4 hours later Nancy arrives Guangzhou. Nancy took the taxi and headed to Jian He address.
