Chpt #28 - How long will she hide?

"Sorry…sorry" Nancy ran without looking infront of her and bumps to a guy.

"It's okay, are you alright?" It was Desmond.

Nancy turns to apologise again "Desmond!?"

"Nancy?!?" Desmond was shocked too.

Nancy pulled Desmond aside and quickly explain the situation and ask Desmond to keep it a secret from Ryan.

"But Nancy, Ryan really loves you. He is like a devil at work now. He gets mad at every little thing and he rarely smiles anymore. Forgive him will you?"Desmond tried to pursued Nancy to come back to SOHO.

"Actually…I've long forgiven him. He must have his reasons for doing so but the problem lies with me. Nothing to do with him. Give me some time to clear my thoughts and hopefully i can be back to SOHO" Nancy felt guilty upon hearing that.

Nancy then left and went back to her room while Desmond went to find Ryan.

Yuxi slowly approaches Ryan, "Hey handsome, mind if i seat here to accompany you?"

"My friend is coming soon and i already have someone i like" Though Ryan was slightly tipsy, he calmly rejected Yuxi.

The moment Desmond came, Yuxi flips her hair and walks off and back to her seat with Sally. Sally laughed at her for being too confident.

"My dear boss. I only leave you for few minutes and you attract girls like magnet" Desmond laugh and rook a sip of the drink.

Ryan laid back and continue looking through the photos of him and Nancy and continues to drink.

"Ryan, stop! Till when are you going to be like this?" Desmond started to get annoyed.

"I should have tell her in the first place! I shouldn't have drag so long. She doesn't trust me anymore. She thinks I'm just like those typical rich guys playing around with people feelings" Ryan starts to tear up.

"Maybe she already forgives you? Just give her sometime will you? We don't know what is in those girls mind" Desmond whispered.

"How do you know then? You met here? Where is she now?" Ryan find it weird and starts blasting questions to Desmond.

"Bro chill! I'm just guessing. Nancy is a soft hearted and sensitive person so that's why i assume. Okay enough already, we're going to have a long day tomorrow, let's go" Desmond calms Ryan down and pulled him out of the pub and back to his room.
