The Merge

Siv hurries to meet Colby. It is quite early, but So is already lively. The fishermen have already brought their catch and most of it was sold. She walks through the fish market to reach the other side of town, where Colby decided to have a tent of his own. 

"Colby." She calls when she reaches the entrance. "Are you there?"

'Maybe.' Colby says through mindlink. 'Why are you being so loud, so early in the morning?' He opens his tent and lets her in.

"Somebody woke up on the wrong side of the bed." Siv teases.

"Excuse me?"

"What is wrong with you?"

"I think I might have had too much to drink." Colby answers. "I don't feel well." Siv walks to the table and pours him a glass of water.

"Here, this will help." Colby takes the glass from her and gulps it down.

"So, why are you here so early?" Colby asks. 

"I met with Siv in my dream last night." She tells him as she takes a seat on his cot bed.
