Reveal

Gary stands on the quarter deck and watches the dark waves sliding by. He enjoys the salty breeze playing with his long hair. It has always calmed him down, but it seems it is unsuccessful tonight. There are just too many things that don't add up. Gene reminds him too much of Siv. Of course he has linked that to the fact that they are childhood friends, as Gene claims. But for some reason, he is not fully convinced.

'What could it be?'

He thinks of possible scenarios, but nothing makes sense. He just needs to confront Gene and try to get the truth from her. For all he knows, she could be leading them to a trap in Bluevale.

'I shouldn't have accepted this mission that easily.'

He slams his fist on the railing and curses under his breath. Then a strange thought crosses his mind.

'What if Gene is Siv?'

He contemplates the crazy thought but shakes his head. That wouldn't be possible, he would have recognized her. Even though Gene reminded him of Siv, he would have recognized her.
