Chapter 25

"Rob...I..." Mia couldn't seem to find the right words as she gently pushed the muscular man away.

"You what?" Rob asked the girl in front of him, even though he already knew what was going to happen and what she was going to say.

"I...want you to kiss me a-again..." The words drifted out of Mia's mouth. Rob's eyes widened to the size of saucers. Were his ears deceiving him? Did she actually say that?

"Rob? Rob!" He heard a faint voice calling him. How odd. It was like he was in a trance or something. He felt someone tap his shoulders, trying to get his attention. He snapped out of his daze, his attention going back to Damon, who was sitting in front of him, cozy under his light blue hospital blanket.

"Oh, uh, I'm sorry, you were saying?" Rob asked his elder, shaking his head slightly as his mind cleared up. A frown was pronounced on Damon's attractive face.

"Are you sure everything's okay?" Damon asked for the third time in twenty minutes.
