Charlotte couldn't help but find it amusing, as Jason pretended not to care despite being so concerned. This kind of relationship between husband and wife seemed quite interesting.
"You should head back first. I'll just ask the nurse to arrange a meal for me here at the hospital. The doctor might have a restricted diet for me, so it's safer and cleaner to eat here."
Hugo hesitated a bit, and Charlotte saw her phone light up. She picked it up to see that it was a text from Henry Russell.
"I'm bringing breakfast over, I'll be there soon. Just wait for me."
Charlotte was a bit surprised. For once, this man was being decent. She showed Hugo the message on her phone.
"See? Henry will be here soon, so I won't go hungry."
Hugo didn't insist anymore, knowing where his priorities lay. But he still didn't leave.
"I'll wait and apologize to him in person."
