"Cut, that'll do for this scene, pretty good performance," the director adjusted the camera and said with satisfaction.
Sophia Taylor snapped back from her role, wiped her tear-red eyes, and smiled, "Thank you, Director, for the praise."
Her acting was passable, but she'd never had a chance to shine until now. No need to worry about such things as a leading lady.
"We'll wrap it up here for the morning. Let's call it a day," the director shouted through the megaphone, and the crew looked visibly relieved.
"The director finally showed us some mercy. Usually, we have to work overtime all the time."
"You're right, I've even lost a patch of hair."
Sophia listened to their remarks and took each one as a compliment to her acting skills.
Without her quick performance, would they have had any time to rest?
Backstage dressing room.
"Charlotte," Sophia greeted warmly as soon as she entered the room, "We have a scene together this afternoon, right?"
