Lucas looked gloomily at Ethan, "What does this have to do with you?"
"Charlotte is a shareholder of my company, my friend, and my friend's wife. How can it not be my business?" Ethan strolled over nonchalantly with one hand in his pocket, and effortlessly freed Charlotte's arm from Lucas's grip.
"The two should be avoiding suspicion since they had a scandal." Although he seemed to be speaking to Charlotte, his eyes were fixed on Lucas.
Lucas looked at him with a cynical smile, "Your friend's wife? Really, Ethan? Is that how you feel?"
Lucas knew that Ethan's feelings for Charlotte went back to their previous lives when Charlotte had just died, and Henry hadn't yet uncovered the truth.
But anyone with eyes could see that Lily was involved.
Ethan had a big fight with Henry in public back then, and Lucas had suspected something was off. Later, when Lucas saw Ethan drinking alone by Charlotte's tombstone, he realized what was wrong.
