A forced marriage

After the press conference when everyone left, Giselle was about to leave to her leave when a servant told her that Carter wanted to see her in his study.

Giselle sighed and walked towards the study as she was tired and only wanted to sleep.

She knocked at the door and entered inside only to find Carter standing near his work table with the file in his hand while Yadale was sitting on the chair.

"Ah, look, who is here, that little fox."

He had a smug smile on his face.

Giselle wasn't able to move and stayed at her spot. She was confused over what just happened.

"I am the power here, Giselle." Carter chuckled.

"But I really envied you."

He walked towards her.

"I can kill both of you now but........I want to make a deal with you."

"What deal?" Giselle's mind was working fast on how to save themselves. She relaxed herself so Carter think that she will not go against him.

"You can do whatever you want by using the powers which I gave you but you have to stay out of my way."
