"Eleven years! She was sentenced to eleven years in jail!" Karla said in shock.
"Awww, I predicted twelve years." Kat said with a sad pout. Tasha just patted her shoulders.
"It's ok Kat. At least we know we won't be hearing from her again for a very long time." She assured me. I inhaled sharply.
"I wish things hadn't turned out like this. It was all stupid. And it's kind of my fault." I stated. We were at the school's library, studying for a joint project while trying to keep our voices low.
"What are you saying girl? How is any of this your fault?" Tasha questioned confused.
"Our encounter in the washroom. I could have handled it much better. But instead I rubbed her failure in her face."
"She deserved it! Do you know how many people she has done the same to?" Asked Karla. She was holding a small book in her hand.
