When I woke up, I found myself in a dark basement with a cold female corpse lying next to me.

I sat up and saw a white lace dress messily wrapped around her body, vaguely revealing her plump and graceful figure. Her face was pale. It seemed that she had just died.

I couldn't help but inhale a breath of cold air. My body was trembling as I took half a step back.

With a rattling sound caused by the shaking of my body, I suddenly realized that my hands and feet were both chained. Two handcuffs were fixed to the iron column behind me while the ankle chain was deeply embedded in the nearby corner of the wall.

I looked around in horror. The high walls of the dimly lit basement were towering and impenetrable, with only a faint ray of light coming in through the skylight above.

I was horrified to realize that I was imprisoned in an underground basement, and there was a corpse lying next to me.
