Chapter 43: Secret Crush

" It couldn't possibly be anyone I know" I thought to myself . Funny enough, the message moved me and I kept on reading it continuously like a novel

I was interrupted by the presence of Amanda who had come into the open door

" Debbie! Are you alright!" She shouted rushing in

" What the... You scared me" I said exhaling as I try to hid the note on my back

" Your door was open and it scared the crap out of me, I thought you have been robbed on Valentine day making your loneliness worse" she teased and I glared at her

"Nice one Amanda" I said

" Who gave you a flower? Did you buy this yourself?" She asked me picking up the flower

I inhaled and exhaled at her for cracking that expensive joke and collected the rose flower from her

" Someone gave it to me and I have no idea who it was, seems the person knows me too well" I said showing her the message that came with the flower

Amanda collected it from me and read them. After reading them, she looked at me as if she was gonna cry and gave me a hug

" You have a secret crush, I am so happy you finally moved a man" She said to me

" Why are you acting like someone engaged me, this letter is probably from one of my staffs or even from my mum, she would go extreme to piss me off" I said wishing it was never any of this that I had thought

" Be positive Debbie, you seem scared to find out who; just relaxed and let everything flow naturally. Now turn back and head to the bathroom to take your bath because you are going to meet your secret crush" she said happier than never before.
