Chapter 2

As I made my way to my summoning chamber I was nervous, I could almost feel a light bit of cold sweat forming making me even more uncomfortable.

As I walked into the Cathedral like room I could clearly see the statue and walked over to it to finally see what my future would be like, I have waited over a decade to know this information so you could imagine my mouth was dry and my heart was beating a mile a minute.

The statue was truly beautiful, I mean that literally, from what I could see it was that of a woman of great beauty though her form was slightly hidden by a black fog of sorts.

One of the things I could make out on the image though were the beautiful white wings and the glowing purple eyes with a glowing halo sitting atop a crown of long golden hair.

[PS- When your Recruitment Pool reaches Tier 9 it can directly recruit Archangels, the weakest Archangels have the same power akin to demigods at adult lvl 50.]

Well shit that was a bit of an info dump but damn! I have no real clue what these Angels can actually do but they at least shouldn't be weak if they have the potential to be demigods right?? Though I liked Ren Qi's Succubus's ability to charm enemies to fight each other, hopefully I can more directly fight enemies instead of relying on that.

Without a second thought I activated the recruitment command on my recruitment pool. I was excited and it couldn't be helped!

I watched as four balls of black and gold energy exited my Recruitment Pool and lined up before me before popping like a bubble, and instantly there was 4 beautiful woman before me dressed some what dainty gold and silver shining armor.

"Master!" They chorused together, kneeling in front of me. They all looked very similar to each other, their features anyways, such as body types, being fairly curvy which was a surprise for Angels. They were all extremely beautiful though it was obvious some of them were more powerful than others going off what I could see and sense.

One of them had 5 sets of resplendent white wings and a body to drool over. If I didn't know any better, I would think that she is the energetic exorcist turned angel from that anime, Highschool DxD she had the violet eyes as well as the light brown hair in twin tails as well as the same facial features, though I only remember her having 1 pair of wings, this angel had five pairs! The rest only had 4 pairs but were all beautifully striking in their own ways.

Holy shit she is a broken existence….? It seems like it anyways, I have no clue what she is capable of though. I have to force myself to look to the other beauties.

They were all Tier-7s, all three had nearly platinum blonde hair and barely armored figures or more like robed figures in dainty armor. The outfits can't even protect their modesty not sure how it will protect anything else but I'm not complaining.

My Seraph had from what I could see, which was a lot, flawless and delicate looking pale skin while the others three had flawless looking skin they also had a slight tanned tint to it just barely noticeable.

"Please stand, I have something for you all." My father had given me a decent amount of demonic meat just for this occasion, it wasn't anything great just a few hundred pounds of tier 1 and tier 2 just to get my new soldiers started on our journey.

I could always go buy some more from the exchange market as it's not like I am broke, as my father gave all his children a decent allowance, but he wanted to gift it to me anyways.

I lead them all outside as there were not proper places to easily cook so much in the castle so we would have to settle for a barbecue over a fire. It would be time consuming but worth it for them.

"Ladies, this should help you get to level 10 at least I think, please enjoy your meals!" I tell them. There wasn't much I could do aside from help them roast it as I didn't need to eat it, such low tier meat would have very little effect on me now." Whereas it could help them greatly.

They just smile at me, the sight was honestly beautiful. They might not be Succubi but they had their own charm and angelic beauty. I could honestly right now find no reason to complain at the moment.

Morning, School, Forest Academy.

It had been a long morning and I knew it would also be a long day, the reason being that today was the day of what amounts to your final exams right before you materialize your lords space in a month.

I could hear that people were obviously excited or nervous or outright dejected most likely being due to what tier or type of soldier they managed to recruit last night.

"Hey Sasha" I say to the pretty brunette that walked up beside me to walk with me to our final period.

"Alex! Hey, I don't guess you want to tell me what soldier you managed to recruit do you or are you going to be all mysterious until the very end?" She was amused by my secrecy about it, and there was honestly no real reason not to tell them I had managed to get Angels, while rare and probably not seen before, it's not unheard of for new types of soldiers to pop up from time to time, it's the unique factor about my summoning pool that I would keep to myself.

Well I guess I could tell her at least, she is one of my best friends I guess, as much as anyone can be at our age anyways as I feel like I'm mentally in my 30s and she only just turned 18.

"Alrighty then, il tell you mine if you tell me yours." I tell the pretty girl with a smirk. She has been slightly secretive herself though probably only because I was.

She just sighed and pouted slightly. "Fine! If I must I must." Her voice lowered to just barely above a whisper. "Well… I may have just possibly recruited Arachnes…" she flushed slightly at the end, it was cute as hell. But I think my own cheeks may have tinted slightly thinking about it… is it just a giant spider or is it a giant spider with a human looking torso and free flying melons? Probably the latter knowing this ecchi novel. Plus they weren't bad units from what I understand, they tend to be in the tier-5 or 6 range usually.

"Oh…. I see? Are they… like I am probably thinking?" I looked away slightly as she whispered a quick yes and also looked away.

"Well I can't really say anything about that." I mumbled slightly and looked away as she looked at me. Knowing her she has a raised eyebrow right about now at my response. "Well… I may have possibly recruited Angels….." I looked her in the eyes this time as I could see her imagination running wild as Angels were probably not just overly strong but were actually still quite unheard of. The closest thing in my mind we're probably Wild Succubi which were probably descended from fallen angels, and could be sold for a good price to… relief houses shall we call them?

"Yah, they are exactly what your thinking, but they are also come out as random tiered up to a point, minimum being tier 5c though I summoned a tier 8 and 7s." She looked at me curiously at that, she knew I wasn't stupid. I figure I could give her a little more information though.

"Their Tiers are weird Sasha. I can recruit 4 per day, and their Tiers are random, from Tier-5 to Tier-9.. I already summoned a Tier-8 and I'm fairly certain she is pretty strong." She looked both confused and excited at the same time for me. Usually tiers were set. Your recruited unit was always Tier 1-9 and stayed that way unless there was a special occasion or maybe an item.

She pouted again at me though for some reason. "My Arachne are only Tier 6!" She whined lightly in my ear. I couldnt help but shrug and blush at her closeness, while being helplessly at that, what could I do? I'm just glad she has some combat power and won't die immediately. Hopefully my other friends were similar.

I don't really understand my countries version of the test that they are doing this year, well saying I don't understand is wrong. It basically boils down to defeating waves of monsters that become progressively stronger, the faster you destroy the waves and move on to the next the better you do on the exam.

It doesn't really take any thought to accomplish this task, only that you got lucky and got fairly strong units. I suppose tactics could help but whatever. Should still be interesting. The options were still Easy, normal, hard, obviously the harder option you choose the more points you gain.
