3-The Fool <I>

In the Land of Fire, a fair distance from Konoha, there stands a lively town that attracts many adults due to its gambling opportunities and fine women. Naruto fans would know that it is the same town where much of the search for Tsunade takes place. Yes, this town is called Tanzaku Quarters/Town.

One can understand its importance by the fact that it is the second largest civilian town of Fire Nation. (Third if you count the military town of Konohagakure) In terms of infrastructure, it has many bars, hotels, weapon & tool shops, casinos, a hospital, pleasure quarters, hot springs & bath houses, of course, the biggest Lord's mansion.

Year 61 of Konoha. In the Lord's mansion of Tanazuki Quarters, a lad in mourning attire can be seen rummaging through the scrolls in the study. This handsome boy is our protagonist Zayaan Ansari, now named Madoka Zentaro. He is the only heir to the Tanazuki Mansion. Today is his 11th birthday, but there are no celebrations. One reason is that he just got back his memories today, another is that just yesterday, his father, who was the younger brother of current daimyo of the Nation of Fire, was assassinated by a rougue Iwa-nin. But now, since unlocking his memories, he knows that it was not that simple. That Iwa-nin never used earth style jutsu, and for infiltration, he swaggered his way to the mansion openly and only used only fire and wind style jutsus. Zentaro knows that this is the stench of Konoha's pot king, Shimura Danzo. Maybe he and Sarutobi Hiruzen wants to control the town finances temporarily to fund the upcoming war.

Since birth, Zentaro has been a bright child. As the nominal heir to his father's nobility, he was trained in basics of politics, Chakra (for enhancing physical fitness only, no jutsus) and etiquettes. As per the law, he was not allowed to actively take part in politics before turning 16. But now, his situation is precarious. On one hand, his father is dead and since he has no official title, his other uncles and other nobles will definitely try to get him dead or use as a puppet. On the other hand, it has been 6 years since the 2nd Ninja world war and the major countries are again in turmoil since 4-5 years. Looking at the timeline, Sasori will kill Third Kazakage in 2 years and the Third Ninja World War will break out on full scale.

After conforming his basic situation, Zentaro decided to study the system first. That is is his only reliance to reverse the predicament.

"System", he called out loudly, full of anxiety.

After finishing the call, Madoka Zentaro closed his one eye and waited for the results in the same place. He had expectations, exitement, hopes and fears.

The darkness in front of the eyes is dyed with the deep redness brought by the light, and the thoughts in Madoka Zentato's mind are rushing and it is difficult to calm down.

At this moment, he suddenly felt that the air around him seemed to stop flowing, becoming sticky and strange.

Followed by, his ears sounded from time to time, sometimes sharp, sometimes illusory, sometimes tempting, sometimes arrogant, sometimes mad whisper.

Obviously, he couldn't understand why is there still ravings when the Honorable A.I. has already clarified that they won't exist for the first beyonders. Madoka Zentaro couldn't help but listen and distinguish to check it out later.

The whole building is spectacular, magnificent, and lavish, like the royal temple of the legendary giant.

Just below the dome, the fog is crowded with a bronze long table. There are ten high-back chairs on the left and right sides. The same seats are placed in front and rear. The back of the chair is flashing, deep red and concealed, and it is not realistic; corresponding to strange constellation.

All this was just like what was described in the original Lord of Mysteries novel. But there's one big difference here. On the bronze long table, there is a sci-fi computer screen facing the Fool's chair.

"So this is my system?? Its really creative way to do it." Yes, on the screen are various tabs such as ReadMe, Status, Inventory, Party and Store. What's more exciting is that this system is fully integrated with the grey fog, meaning Madoka Zentaro can add/remove tabs at will and copy the terminal display to other party member seats.

Madoka Zentaro first selected the ReadMe tab and more information about the system app red on it. According to the system, the power level comparison between the LoTM world and Narutoverse is as follows:

Sequence 9 (Low Sequence) = Shinobi Academy Student or Low level Genin

Sequence 8 (Low Sequence) = Elite level Genin or Low level Chunin

Sequence 7 (Mid sequence) = Elite level Chunin

Sequence 6 (Mid sequence) = Special Jounin

Sequence 5 (Mid sequence) = Jounin

Sequence 4 (High sequence / Demigod / Saint) = Elite Jounin or Entry level Kage

Sequence 3 (High sequence / Demigod / Saint) = Elite level Kage or Entry level Super Kage
