" Who's Eve?"

Just by thinking that name, he was furious.

On few nights while she was having nightmares, Ana screamed this name.

Is this bitch her kidnapper. He wanted to know if Becca knew this Eve. So he asked again,

"Who's Eve??? Do you know???

I think this Eve is only or one of the kidnappers."

Whereas for Becca, Eve was another mystery . She knew it wasn't Eve who was responsible for Ana's disappearance . She also knew that apart from Ana if anyone has answers then that's Eve.

Becca had tried contacting Eve but to utter disappointment she couldn't. She even went to her house but again nothing. She wasn't allowed to meet her. Even she herself haven't heard anything about Eve since past six- seven years.

Like Jake is reacting now she herself reacted the same way, but Ana clarified. And that was the only thing she opened about and nothing else.

**flashback* *

Becca enters Ana's room. Ana was on the bed, curled up, and staring at the wall beside the bed.

Coming nearer to the bed, Becca thought should she really ask what she has been wanting to ask since a week now.

She decides she should do it before she chicken out.

" Ana???? "

Hearing Becca's voice Ana turns and sits *up.

"Yeah!!! " she replies softly.

"How are you??? " Becca asks testing the water. To which ana just nodded, indicating that she was okay.

"Can i ask something???" Becca asks hesitatingly .

Ana was alert, what Becca wanted to ask . She didn't wanted to talk about ' what happened '. But she still nodded.

"Ana...was it Eve ...behind all this ....behind u gone missing ...???"

Becca said while gritting her teeth . Anger was evident on her face.

Ana stared at first not replying anything but then she shook her head in no.

Becca thought Ana denied because she's scared. So she pressed again.

" you know you can say me....i promise she wont be able touch you again. That little piece of shit-"

Becca's outrage was cutoff suddenly by ana.

" no, infact she was the reason i was able to escape . "

Ana said softly while lost in thought.

Becca surely didn't expect this reply. She was stunned,

"But....but ....in your sleep.... you-"

this time Becca stops herself.

" no, that's different,

but its all because of her that I'm...I'm able to be back."

Ana didn't wanted to talk but she wanted to clear her best friend's name, who was more than just a best friend now.

Becca sighed on hearing her response. She didn't expected that.

" you know, it was her we saw you with last? ."

Becca said her other reason to suspect Eve. She just wanted to know .

" can i sleep? my head is hurting ."

Ana said not wanting to answer any more questions.

Becca wanted to protest but knew well that it would be useless so nodded and left Ana's room.

Giving out a sigh Becca replied,

"Yeah i know who Eve is but Eve isn't behind any of it. "

"How do you know that??? "

Jake questioned.

" i know this because like you at first thought the same, i was furious, like every time this time too i asked Ana,

But this time luck was good and she decided to clarify. She said that Eve wasn't behind it, she didn't hurt her infact she was the reason Ana was able to escape.

That was the only thing she opened about ever. "

Not expecting the answer he got, he looked at Noah who had blank face. He was trying understand everything .

"But who actually is Eve???what's her relation with Ana???"

This time it was Noah who questioned.

"Ana's best friend since kindergarten."

Came Becca's reply.

" if Eve is the reason behind her escape then, she's also the one other than Ana herself who has answers to all are questions. So why don't call Eve.??"

Noah said what Becca had already guessed before in the past.

" Dont you think I've already tried that??? "

Becca replied.

"Okay ....So??? " Noah prompted her to continue.

" she wasn't available. I called on her number, her number was switched off . I called on her dad's phone, that wasn't answered either. I called at her home number, someone answered this but when i asked about Eve, he said she's unavailable right now.

When i went to her home, i was told she's not there either, not even her dad.

And since then i haven't seen Eve. "

Becca said in a frustrated voice.

"What??? When was the last time you saw her .???"

Noah asked, his confusion rising.

Becca sighed at this. But replied.

" 6 years ago, .....

the day Ana went missing.... that day was Eve's birthday ."

Frown on both of their faces didn't decrease. And Noah asked,

"Never again???"

Seeing Jake's and Noah's face Becca took a deep breath and confirmed,

" And never again. That day was Eve's birthday, Ana and Eve planned to spend the day together,infact the whole week end together.

Eve was kind of an introvert girl,human, not overly extrovert like Ana was that time. Being the only daughter of city's one of the richest man, she was good and very down to earth. Eve was a type of girl that everyone would like and love and we all loved her.

That day Eve came to pick Ana, that's when we saw her last, small figure, brown eyes, brunette hair, wearing a blue dress. They both left together .

That was the last we saw them .

Next day we came to know, they are missing, both of them .

There was a knock approx 11 am . We opened the door to find Eve's cousin standing there . But then he demanded about Ana and Eve . We said what we knew . He said both of them are missing . They hadn't returned home since previous night. He thought they were at our place.

And then all of us started searching them . Did everything, but they were nowhere to be found.

A month later, Ana appeared. We tried to talk to her but she never opened. However we were happy she returned. We thought Ana returned that means Eve must have been back too. We had our own shits to handle, that we kind of forgot to bother ourselves about Eve.

It wasn't until i heard Ana screaming Eve's name in sleep . I thought it was Eve who hurt my sister but that wasn't the thing . But i knew Eve knew the full story so i tried contacting her, meeting her but.... unsuccessful."

There was silence for few minutes.

" you think, like Ana, Eve is back too??? "

Noah asked raising his eyebrows.

" yes i think so . .... i cant say anything for sure ....but yes i think so." Becca said .

"Why??" Noah counter questioned.

" that's because, as ana said Eve was the reason Ana was able to escape, that means may Eve helped her in escaping. So if she can help someone else they why cant she help herself and escape."

Ana said her thoughts.

Jake thought,

Becca's right, if a girl can help other in escaping then why cant she herself escape. But then again, why cant she show her face.

Noah was thinking the same thing.

But then suddenly another thought came into his head and he inquired,

" you said, Eve was the only daughter of one of the richest man in the city...right?? That you said regarding six years before.?? "

Noah thought that if he was one of the richest man then there must be somewhere some news regarding him and his daughter.

Nodding, she replied,

" yes, six years before he was one of the richest man in the city. "

Becca was confused why noah asked about Eve's father .

" o-kay!! What's his name?"

He asked back, thoughtful .

Confused Becca, replied after thinking for a minute,

"Jamieson Fox."
