Dahlia looked down at her legs. Her feet poked out from beneath the blankets and, while they felt totally natural to her, one look was all it took for her to realise that things had changed quite a bit. She wiggled her 'toes', transfixed by the new motion while also being fascinated by how her brain was able to adapt so seamlessly. After a moment, Valentina's voice interrupted her thoughts though and she looked back at her love: still bleeding, and still beautiful.
"I'm not sure if the others will appreciate waking up in the middle of the night, but you're right that we've been here a while and have fallen behind schedule. You were out for four days by the way. We were all getting a little worried, but I guess that's what happens when you absorb such a massive amount of mana and then regenerate half your body."
A smile played on the vampiress' lips as she looked over the girl's body.
