With Dahlia pressed up and entwining herself against her, Valentina was beginning to lose all common sense and as the girl whispered her temptation, something almost snapped and went feral inside the vampiress' mind. Dahlia was right there pressed against her and something screamed in her head to take her there and now. To make the girl squeal and moan until she was broken and crying for more.
She wanted to force expressions out of her. Make her cry tears of pleasure and… She managed to stop that train of thought just barely in time. Her breathing was ragged and it was only then that she suddenly realised herself running her nails into the girl's back. This was bad…
Quickly, she pushed herself away from Dahlia, but the girl immediately whimpered at being separated. At that moment though, Valentina needed space and a second to breathe. Her entire body was trembling as she tried to calm down and she began to go over what had just occurred.
'That was far too close. I've never been like this before, not with anyone. Sure, I'm into dominance and being primal, but that was far more than that. If any more time had passed, I could have terrified or hurt her…'
She may be a woman who loves to dominate, but she had never particularly enjoyed S&M. She had a sadistic personality, but it never really was geared towards her partners in any more than a teasing sense; certainly not to the point of inflicting pain. She had done it before, sure, but it was always at her partner's request and she had just gone along with their wishes. But just then she felt sadistic impulses well up. She wanted to see Dahlia squirm. To see her writhe and see her face as she couldn't take anymore or as she cried.
Looking down at her hands, she saw her nails which naturally grew as sharp as knives due to her bloodline. Just one moment more of following her instinct and she could have truly hurt Dahlia. Something in that thought excited her and made her shiver, but that was all the more reason she was so shaken.
For her to want anything close to that with a girl who had already gone through so much pain… it made her stomach roil. She knew enough scumbag nobles who got off on beating their servants. It was far too easy to draw parallels to Dahlia's case, and the fact that she might be no better was a possibility she dreaded.
She knew Dahlia wanted her close. She knew the girl was scared and near blind and just wanted affection. But even imagining what she might look like, how she might tilt her head to the side like a confused bunny, or pout when not given attention… it all just made the vampiress want to take a bite out of her.
Doing everything she could to control herself, Valentina took some deep breaths before opening her eyes to finally face Dahlia. The girl had her head tilted to the side, just like she had imagined, and although that urge to bite came back, she was happy to find her love overwhelming her lust. For the time being at least, she would be ok.
For the whole time the Archduchess was trying to stop herself from ravishing Dahlia though, she had been sitting by herself on the bed facing where she believed the archduchess to be. She had drawn her legs up and was holding her knees for comfort as she tried to watch the blurred silhouette of Valentina.
Once the woman had finally begun to shift and turn back towards her, Dahlia finally spoke up in a fearful voice.
"Did… did I go too far? I-I won't do it again, I promise I'll behave and do what you ask, please, I'll do better!"
Her voice cracked as she was on the verge of tears. The thought that she had already messed up and become something to toss away wasn't exactly a new concern for her, but knowing how happy she was with Valentina made the fear all the more heartbreaking to her.
This wasn't just a means to escape the fate her parents gave her. She truly wanted to be with Valentina, at least that's what all these new emotions told her. For her whole life, she never received affection, but here it was so generously given to her. For her whole life, she thought her sexuality would remain a barren wasteland, but now she had come to feel so many new things…
She wanted to stay. No, *needed* to stay. At this point to be tossed aside may very well ruin her. It was with all these fears that she waited for Valentina to answer and, to her surprise, the Archduchess didn't immediately respond.
'Oh, she had to think about how to say it. I guess this really is it.'
Coming to that conclusion, a few silent tears began to flow down her cheeks when a hand reached out and wiped them away. That hand held and caressed her with such tender care, it only confused her more.
'What is it? If you're going to tell me to leave, then you could at least not show me kindness! Don't make me want this more than I already do… Wait, why are her hands shaking?'
After finally realising something was wrong and not in the way her brain suspected, she began to sniffle a bit but managed to restrain any more tears.
"V-Valentina…? You're shaking, what's wrong?"
She reached up to her face where the hands were and took them in her own. Running her thumb soothingly along the back of one hand, she pressed it into her face and nuzzled and kissed the Archduchess' palm, hoping that the action might help. All she could tell though was the shaking seemed to increase and the woman's breath seemed to hitch for a moment.
"Please… I don't know how to interact with people. I don't know what I'm doing. I need you to be honest with me, otherwise who knows what conclusions I'll come to. Just… be honest with me, I can take it."
A long sigh came from the Archduchess before her voice finally came out. It was quiet and far less confident than typical. Hearing her like this made Dahlia's heart clench. It felt wrong and she just wanted to bring back that confidence, wherever it had run off to.
"Look, Dahlia I… I'm not sure if I can do this. I mean, it has nothing to do with you but right now… something feels wrong with me. I think it's how my own emotions get mixed with my vampirism, but… yeah, I'm scared I'm going to hurt you."
Dahlia wished that she could see her. To try and read her expressions and draw a conclusion. All she could do was listen and try to read her through her tone alone and come to understand based on what was said. The fear that she would hurt her though… that seemed unreasonable. If anything, the best way to hurt her was to leave her alone again, but considering the Archduchess seemed quite serious about this, she decided not to just brush it off.
"Ok, just keep talking. I'll listen and we can try to work something out. I don't like hearing things like 'I don't know I can do this.' It makes me think you're going to leave me all of a sudden. The last thing I want is that, so let's just work it out together, whatever it is, ok?"
The voice so usually filled with anxieties was now instead calming and gentle. Although she was dreadful at taking care of her own mentality, when it came to others, especially Valentina, she found it far easier to set her own worries aside for the sake of another. She was all too familiar with what it felt like to have your body tremble in fear and she wished no part of it upon the vampiress.
Valentina gathered her thoughts a moment before letting out a sigh. She loved the feeling of the girl nuzzling into her hand and it had honestly helped her calm down. She struggled to gather her thoughts, but eventually managed to wrangle some words together.
"Dahlia, I don't think you realise how much you drag out of me. Thoughts I never imagined I'd have. Feelings I thought impossible for me… it's overwhelming. Plenty of it is wonderful but there are much harsher aspects too. I honestly just want to ravish you and not in a hyperbolic way either. I want to take you. To overwhelm you."
She shook her head as if fighting to maintain clarity. Just saying this outloud was getting her worked up and her imagination was running wild.
"Sweetheart, I never want to bring harm to you, but there's a part within me that does. Something deep in my psyche wants to shower you in my own sadism. To bite, claw, and mark you, all while having you writhe for me. The idea that some part of me might be more similar to your parents than I thought… it makes me scared to be near you. The closer we get the more my lust spurned me forward and I'm petrified of what might happen if I lose myself."
Dahlia just sat there remaining motionless. She hadn't expected that answer in the least. The woman of her dreams had just openly admitted that she was lusting for her uncontrollably and it left Dahlia feeling an indescribable amount of pride. Despite being reserved and not wanting to rush things more than they already had, Dahlia admitted to herself that Valentina could likely jump on her and, after the initial shock, she wouldn't even be able to complain.
The issue was the sadism. Honestly, hearing the way the vampiress said it all left her hot and bothered and she struggled to keep her breathing steady. To writhe under her. To be bitten and marked. She began to imagine how far it could go and it sent a shiver through her. Conceptually, she was far from adverse to it, however the Archduchess had a reasonable concern.
Even though Dahlia trusted her and knew she cared for her well being, it was impossible not to draw parallels between this and her parents' own sadism. She knew deep down that although the concept may be a turn on, actually experiencing it might terrify her or worse yet, have her associate her new source of love with her life's most painful experiences.
As much as she trusted Valentina, she was well acquainted with how quickly her rationality could fall apart. It was after quite a long moment that she had thought everything over, only to come to a solution that she thought might be acceptable.
"Alright, first of all, I think I need to say thankyou. If you hadn't resisted and just done what you pleased, I likely wouldn't have had the courage to ask you to stop. Moving on to how we should move forward though, I need to say that in the long term I don't think this will be such a big deal. I was far more interested in what you described than I care to admit, so don't think of what you're feeling as wrong, ok?"
She tried to listen for any sounds of agreement, but found that she couldn't tell how the Archduchess was taking this all. Without any feedback, she decided that it would be best for her to just push forward.
"Eventually, one day, I'll be more than happy to do what you want and let you give in to every little temptation, but for now… could we go slow? And not in the way you might think where I'm asking you to back off. I was wondering if we could set today as a baseline. I don't want to go back to a life where I can't be held by you. I want to be able to be in your arms just like before, just… maybe we ought to get to know each other a bit more before going further."
"I trust you so much already, but I don't think there's a need to push our luck. You're right in that I don't want to have the faintest risk of comparing you to my parents, so why don't we just let you ingrain yourself so deeply into my thoughts that I can't think of anything else?"
She had said the last bit with a hint of flirtation, but she had been genuine the whole time. She had no desire to separate and create space just because Valentina was having these urges. She'd much rather stay close and risk having the vampiress slip up rather than keep their distance.
On the other side of things, Valentina has reeling slightly. Compared to the usually shy girl who lacked confidence, the way Dahlia had just spoken showed a degree of level headedness she would never have expected.
The fact that she hadn't rejected her outright due to her sadism was a huge weight off her shoulders, and hearing how she was even interested in pursuing that down the line… well, her thoughts were running wild and she was finding it hard to focus. The more the girl spoke, the more she loved Dahlia all over again.
And that last bit about making her think only of her… it made her entire body heat up as she thought of what she could do to achieve that. Unknowingly, Dahlia had added a new goal on Valentina's to-do list and it was 'break her until she can only think of me.' She was practically panting and in heat by this point. Dahlia had assuaged her fears so well, that now she was back to just lusting for the girl.
Trying to shake herself out of it, it took her a while before she finally responded to her.
"Dahlia, I know you want to stay close, trust me when I say I do too, but right now if we do I really don't know how much I can resist. Fighting and resisting my own impulses is something that I've never trained myself to do, and you make them far more extreme than I'm used to. Even now, if we just tried to return to holding each other and kissing, I'd almost certainly take a bite out of you."
There was a pause at that. She watched the girl's reaction as best as she couldn't but truly couldn't tell what she might be thinking. Then those words came out.
"Is that all?"
"W-what?"
"I said, is that all? If you could bite me, would that let you calm down a bit, or would it make it worse? Because if all you need is to bite me in order for us to not distance ourselves, then I'm more than willing. Frankly, I wanted it eventually anyway. If it'll help control your bloodline's instincts, then I'm more than happy to let you start sooner rather than later."
Valentina couldn't believe her ears, but when the offer came, it was like nothing else mattered. That mere suggestion pulled her in without a word, and slowly but surely she found herself overtop of Dahlia. The girl said something then, but she didn't even hear it. Her only focus was on the pale neck beneath her. It was as if the moment Dahlia made the suggestion, a dam holding her back broke, and now all of that contained desire had only one way to escape.
She looked down at Dahlia with eyes drenched in desire and the girl looked like just the perfect prey. She was blind and uncertain of the exact situation, but even from here, Valentina could tell that Dahlia was filled with anticipation as well. The girl once again said something, it sounded impatient, maybe even pleading, but again the words held no meaning.
The vampiress finally lowered her head, delivering kisses all along her neck until finally landing right at the base, where her collar started. She kissed the spot a few more times, getting a little firmer and more passionate each time until she finally gave in entirely. Her long canines sunk in with shockingly little resistance and the red nectar that flowed into her mouth made her entire body melt in pleasure.
She felt the body underneath her twitch and a euphoric moan met her ears, and that only made her latch on tighter. Valentina hadn't shied away from substance use however beyond smoking occasionally, she never found a drug that she particularly loved, but this? This she could get addicted to.
It was a unique sensation and there was no good way to describe it. Imagine a drink of water after being parched after a long workout, combined with a hot drink on a cold day, and then tied together with an orgasm. Mix those together and you might have a faint idea of what she was feeling.
She had no idea how much time passed until she finally withdrew her fangs leaving two small holes behind. They leaked a bit of blood, but after she impulsively ran her tongue on the girl's neck, nothing, not even a drop remained. Finally coming to terms with what she had done she looked up at Dahlia. She was so engrossed in the sensation that she hadn't even kept track of how her partner was fairing.
That fear quickly disappeared though when she saw the face that greeted her. Dahlia was laying there flushed and panting. Her entire body was trembling and as Valentina went to run her hand along her side, her entire body shuddered at the touch. Valentina raised an eyebrow at that, and a sly grin formed on her face.
"I knew I enjoyed myself, but who knew you'd be like this? Are you going to be okay love?"
There was a slight whimper as she nodded her head. It took a second, but she managed to steady her breathing before finally forming a little grin of her own.
"That may have been the best sensation I've felt in my life! Also, I see you're not pouncing on me, which means I'll take this little experiment as a success?"
Valentina paused and then started to weigh her current emotional stability. While her lust for the girl beside her was still there, it was far more controlled. It was like drinking her blood sedated her to some degree and that realisation made her far happier than she expected. With a fair degree of giddiness, she pulled Dahlia in and kissed her deeply before pulling her close and holding her tight.
"Yes, it was definitely a success. So if you let me keep biting you, I may never let you go."
Dahlia giggled a bit and then wedged herself tighter into Valentina's arms before whispering.
"My, Archduchess, you truly are a temptress~"
I originally planned for this discussion to last half a chapter and instead it ended up being a full extra long chapter... oh well.
Between an appointment I needed to attend, daylight savings messing up my sleep cycle, and just general fatigue, I had a tough time writing this. I kept falling asleep while sitting at my desk, so all I can do is hope that it came out alright.
Moving forward, this will be the last of the horny chapters for a while, at least as far as I've planned. While their affections will certainly continue, we've got other things to focus on. Their relationship needs to grow, the castle needs to be explored, and Dahlia's magic needs a bit more time in the limelight too.
While many things are still in the planning stage on my end, I'm looking forward to a whole bunch that will be introduced in what I'm coming to consider the second arc of the story. I hope that you're looking forward to it too! If there's any feedback you have, I'm always happy to hear it and after talking about all that, I'm especcially interested if you have your own things you look forward to seeing more of.
Either way, thank you all so much for your support, and as always, I hope you're having a wonderful day~
