Terram

He finished collecting everything he needed to "Oh yeah, I never told you my name did I?"

"I figured you'd tell me when you were ready. I know all to well you can't trust everyone"

He smiles in appreciation "My names Terram, nice to meet you." you start to walk down the mountain "So where'd you come from Mr.?"

"...My home town was originally in Marxis, on the southern outskirts"

"Why'd you leave, don't you have family there? friends?"

"The village was completely destroyed about two months ago, im the only one left. A dwarf saved me and took me to Sindrie in Camite to get my wounds healed"

"Oh... I... I'm sorry to bring it up"

"Don't worry about it you had no way of knowing"

"You know, your a lot friendlier than I thought you'd be"

"How so?"

"Well I come over the hill and see someone with a mask and black cloak with sword drawn, not exactly the most friendly first impression."

You chuckle "Yeah, I guess that's true"

Both of you continue down the mountain and after an hour or two you reach solid ground.

"The sun's getting low we should set up camp" you say

"There's a road up ahead let's go see if we can hitch a ride first from one of the passing caravans first"

You walk to the nearby rode and get there just in time to see a single horse drawn caravan, Terram waves him down

"What do you two want? Im in a hurry" he wasn't exactly the kindest person.

I let Terram do the talking "We were wondering if we could get a ride?"

He scoffed "Don't waste my time"

I stepped forward "What if we paid?"

I seemed to peek his intrest "How much we talkin?"

"How about 5 silver?"

"Nah, gotta be higher, at least 10"

"How about 50 if you take the two of us to the Capital?"

His eyes widen "Hop in, if there's not enough room toss some stuff out" You hand him a small bag with the money in it. We walk to the back and see its almost completely full except the space to the farthest out

"You ride inside, I'll sit on the back step"

"Are you sure about this?! 50 silver is a lot of money, we can just walk"

"It'll be fine" you hop on and he starts going

"I'm sure my master will pay you back"

"So what's this master of yours like? If we're going to meet him I should know what to expect" He seemed apprehensive "If you don't want to tell me here that's fine"

"I would! but the wall's have ears, or the ground carriage in this case. Lets just say he's not the most well liked person in the world"

"I see"

"Oh yeah! You mentioned a dwarf saved you earlier, tell me about him!"

"Well I guess it couldn't hurt" You begin to tell him about your exploits with Sam and the rest of your friends in Calmite, of course you left out certain details but told him most of it.

"So Sindrie got destroyed huh?" It looks like he's thinking, he snaps out of it "Seems like you haven't had the best time the past few months, im sorry to hear that"

"Its in the past" to be honest it was still really bothering you, the only reason your getting so close to this guy is for his master.

"Cobalt class huh? I didn't know you were that good!"

"A friend taught me swordsmanship, I guess he was really good cause right after he finished I got promoted to Cobalt"

"What was his name?"

"Henderson"

He seemed shocked to hear that name "Yeah I guess that makes sense"

"What does?"

"You'll see once we get to the Capital" he said with a smile
