Fantasy or Warning?

The encounter with the guild master left a rotten taste in your mouth along with a sudden sense of foreboding, before you could think to much Henderson approached "Here you go sir. Welcome, gold-class adventurer Andrew" He handed you a gold card with some of your identification on it but when you look up to ask him where he got the info, he was gone.

You head downstairs to the main hall to find Silas and his party eating, drinking and talking. "So how'd everything go with the guild master?"

"It went....Well?"

"Okay, did you get accepted into the guild?"

"Yep, gold-class adventurer Andrew"

"Congratulations!" after that little exchange you all spent the night celebrating and drinking, livening up the dead, dreary hall. Right here and now you decided forget about all the worries that were piling up and just have fun, even if it's just for a while. After a few hours Ollie walked up to you "So, what'd he or she look like?" you had no idea what she was talking about, sensing this "The Guild Master, he's something of an urban legend around here, the only people who have seen him are Henderson and Simon but they ain't talkin, so what's he like? and what'd he want with you?"

"How'd you know I went to see him?"

"Silas, but by now, almost everybody knows it, word travels fast around here"

"He's like nothing you'd expect, he dresses in pink and white stripes with curly shoes and gloves with a black cane, talk about a clash of color, he's loud, eccentric, and something about him and they way he acted screamed untrustworthy, but I don't know, I might've just been tired after the fight"

"Really? sounds... weird. I guess that's to be expected by someone who runs a guild but never shows his face. But remember, always listen to your gut, it wont steer you wrong." after that you both decided to go to bed, you head in, lay down, and immediately pass out.

Your suddenly in the marketplace, its around noon and the place is bustling, so you try to head to the guild hall to find everyone and see what happened but then there was a bright flash of light and everyone around you dropped dead, their eye's gouged out as you hear a high pitched maniacal laugh, and it gets louder and louder only to realize it's coming from you, you try to stop but you have no control over yourself as your laughing louder, louder, louder till its almost deafening and your vision slowly fades to black as if you were closing your eyes.

You wake up In a cold sweat, same place you fell asleep. What the hell was that!? you've never had trouble with nightmares before. You decided to take a walk and clear your head. It was around midnight and nobody was around, you begin to walk over a small stone bridge when, "So! We meet again! I see you decided not to heed my warning?" you turn around and see the guild master

"I think I'll be fine thank you for the advice though, I never did catch your name"

"Oh dear me! Of course! they call me many things, however, you can call me Bell. So tell me Andrew what struck you to not heed my advice, is there a reason?"

"I think I'll be able to handle anything that's thrown at me, plus there's the guards and fellow adventurers so I think im safe here for the time being."

he sigh's "Like a frog in a well..."

"What was that?"

"Oh nothing! Now, if you will excuse me!" he began to walk away,

"Wait! I want to ask you a few thing's"

"Well of course! why didn't you say so sooner?"

"Well this is a bit of an odd question but..." you don't know why your asking him this but he obviously knows more than he lets on "what do you think of dreams?"

"Ah dreams! I believe dreams can help you escape from this drab reality to a realm of fantasy, but can also serve as a warning or a premonition. Of course that's only my opinion on the matter, although other's say they are glimpses into other worlds, what brought about this?"

"Oh nothing, I do have one last question then I'll let you go"

"Ask me anything your heart desires!"

"Who are you?"

"What ever do you mean? Im Bell, the Sindie city guild master"

"I mean who are you really?" He said nothing, but a wide devilish grin grew across his face, he began to walk away.

"Be careful! Nights can be awfully dangerous around here. Remember my advice! If not, well, we'll see. Ta-ta!"
