"How did I end up here?" Theresa wondered in confusion.

"You're awake." A girl in her late 20's was sitting beside Theresa. She was none other than her elder sister, Demi. She had a slight wavy hair in shades of auburn.

"Demi." Theresa excitedly hugged her. She was super happy to finally meet her after 3 months.

"Are you feeling better now?" Demi caressed Theresa's hair.

"Yeah, I'm absolutely fine." Theresa gave a big smile.

"You were unconscious when Marcellus carried you here. He told us that you gave him a lift on your way then you fell asleep and when he tried to wake you up, you didn't. So he carried you up to your room. I called the doctor to check you and she said that you fainted due to exhaustion and besides this there's nothing more to worry about." Demi's hazel eyes, sparked with concern.

"What? Did I really give him a lift? The last thing I can remember is that I was on my way to Patras and after that, everything is blurred." Theresa pressed her temples to rewind back to her memories but she couldn't recall a thing. Since Theresa didn't even hit her head, it was unusual for her to forget everything that happened to her in the woods.

"Why the hell can't I remember a thing? How did I lose my consciousness? It's insane. Fuck!!!"

"Hey, stop pressuring your mind, Theresa. Due to exhaustion, you must have forgotten that you met Marcellus in the way and gave him a lift, and also what's the whole point of remembering if your brain doesn't want to remember?" Demi lightly brushed Theresa's hands, assuring that everything is fine.

"Take some rest for now. I will cook your favourite food, Chicken Soup with Oregano." Demi patted Theresa on her shoulders and left the room. Theresa nodded.

"Yeah, Demi is right. There's no point of trying to remember, I am really troubled by the reality that I faced recently, I had not slept properly since Egan confronted me about his identity. I ended up falling in a deep sleep, and I must have met Marcellus and gave him a lift like he said. I mean, why would he lie us, right? But still why do I feel like I am forgetting something?" For the past 3 years, Theresa have been stuck with this feeling, she feels that a part of her is lost somewhere in an unknown depth of the oceans.

Theresa sighed and wandered in the room. This was the very room where Theresa and Demi spent their childhood. In the present time, this is Theresa's room which is filled with lots of happy memories along with traumatizing ones. The room was minimal, its walls were lavender in tint. There was a double-bed in the middle and a cupboard in the corner of the room. Facing the window, there was a desk and a chair, a wind chime hanging in the rail. Theresa reminiscenced her childhood as she closely stared at the photo-frames hanging on the walls. A wave of nostalgia sweeped her, realizing that she's no longer a happy kid that she used to be back then.

"Theresa!" Demi shouted from the kitchen.

It startled Theresa, "Now what?"

"Just reminding you to inform Mom that you have already arrived in Patras."

"Oh shit! I forgot." Theresa searched for her phone which was on the bedside table and dialed her mom's number just to be answered by a worried voice, "Theresa, my dear, where are you? Why didn't you pick up my call? I instructed you to open your location map so why didn't you turn it on?" Thalia was relieved to hear her daughter's voice, at the same time, she was upset because Theresa didn't follow her instructions.

After hearing her mom, Theresa was dazed, "Mom, calm down. Take a deep breathe!"

"I know you well, Theresa. Don't try to change the topic. Answer my questions." Thalia was irritated.

"Why would I change the topic? If you ask me questions that doesn't make a sense to me then how do you expect me to give answers. Neither you called me nor you instructed me to turn on my location map so why would I do something that you never told me to do?" Theresa was furious and frustrated.

"Why are you so mean, Theresa? You know it's all my fault, I shouldn't have sent you to that cab, it was a fraud. I was so scared that something might happened to you but I couldn't let my fear get the best of me so I kept my calm and I asked you to look outside, whether you saw the traces of any people or vehicles. Along with it, I instructed you to turn on your location map. Unfortunately the police couldn't track you down because you didn't follow any of my instructions. Do you know how much I cried? I almost had a heart attack." Thalia's voice was filled with immense emotions of regret, anger, fear, sadness and disappointment. "I don't know why am I even saying this things to someone who doesn't care about me. You didn't even bother yourself to call or message me once. You're unfilial." The last sentence hit Theresa like a thunderbolt crashing a stone. 'Beep, beep!' Thalia cut the call.

Theresa was dumb-founded, she couldn't believe her ears, "How's that possible? Why don't I remember anything about today? What the hell is wrong with me?" Theresa's chest tightened and felt heavy, she was unable to breathe. Flashback of her past swallowed her in an abyss of her nightmares.

"Mom, please don't leave us." The little girl tightly wrapped herself over her Mom's waist. She wore a white frock and her hair was short and curly. She seemed to be around 10 years old.

"Let go of me." The woman pushed the little girl and left the house with her luggages.

The little girl watched her mom leaving them all alone, her innocent brown eyes shed tears, enough to fill an ocean.
