[Mature Content] "It's not what you think, please listen to me." She begged him desperately, her eyes filled with tears. He stood silently like a living dead, lowering his face. "Can you hear me? It has always been you, I'm in love with you, not him." She said as she stared at the guy standing beside her, in an attempt to hold his hand. She stepped closer but he flinched from her touch and moved few inches away from her. He slowly turned around as he lifted his head, his face clearly showing the hint of betrayal and bitter sadness. "Stop! I haven't finished, listen to me. You can't go like this." She berated as she followed him but he disappeared in a thin air, leaving no traces of his presence. The Tension Part-II

"Marcellus, Marcellus. Listen to me." Demi ran after Marcellus to catch his pace.

"Just leave me alone, Demi. Return back to the hotel." Marcellus said furiously without turning back.

"No, I won't until or unless you don't return with me." Demi shouted her lungs out. Hearing her, Marcellus halted on his steps, "Why are you so stubborn?"

"More with you." Demi hugged Marcellus from behind, "I'm fine, okay? Please calm down."

Demi's comfort was the only thing that could calm Marcellus's anger. He took deep breaths, placing his hands on hers, he rubbed the back of it then he slowly turned behind to face her. Marcellus cupped her cheeks and pressed a light kiss on her forehead. Demi blushed a little on his sweet gesture. "Let's go." Marcellus fingers interlocked with Demi's as they sauntered towards the Tsikeli Boutique Hotel.

Just few minutes ago, Lucian was out of sight and now in a blink of an eye, he was sitting besides Theresa, enjoying the Beef Burger and sipping the glass of Evais.

"Are you sure nothing has happened to your right eye?" Theresa furrowed her eyebrows in worry.

"How many times do you tend to ask me the same question? Miss Gabris, I'm absolutely fine." Lucian pulled out his right eye lid up and down at the same time. "See, nothing's wrong with my right eye."

"Okay, okay. I got it, stop doing that." Theresa tightened her lips in disapproval.

"Isn't it cool?" Lucian was continuously pulling out his right eye.

Theresa rolled her eyes, at this point, she felt as if it was a huge mistake inviting him in the first place. She wasn't fond of a stranger's company and she merely knew Lucian. To be honest, she had no interest knowing anything about him.

"So, are you driving or hiking to Meteora's 6 monasteries?" Lucian asked as he stopped pulling his right eyelid.

"We would be driving there. Since we will be starting our day from Kastraki, we will be visiting the Monastery Of St. Nicholas Of Anapafsas first and then the remaining 5." Finishing the last piece of Chicken Souvlaki, Theresa put the skewer in the foil. "What about you, have you ever been there?"

"Nope, tomorrow's going to be my first."

"Oh, I see." Theresa nodded.

"You must be going with your boyfriend, Marcellus and your sister, right?" Lucian poured the Evais in his wine glass.

"Wait, how did you know about Demi and Marcellus?" Theresa raised her eyebrows in suspicion.

"About that... why don't you ask your sister, Demi?" Lucian smirked as he gulped the wine in one shot.

"There's no way he's going to tell me anything. I don't want to press him either, I'll just ask Demi later. I wonder where Demi and Marcellus are, by now they must have returned to the suite, right? I mean it's already so late." Theresa was lost in her own thoughts that's when Lucian snapped his finger before her eyes. "Miss Gabris, you seemed troubled. Is everything okay?"

"Yeah, everything's okay. It's just that I have a bad habit of zoning out." Theresa pursed her lips.

"I see." Lucian took a bite of grilled feta.

"I didn't know you were so hungry." Theresa gave a short smile.

"Oh yeah, I also didn't know that you were so excellent at noticing it." Lucian sniggered as he looked at Theresa's narked face. "Also, I don't see your overprotective boyfriend. Where's he? Could it be that you chased him?"

Theresa let out a soft chuckle, "Yes, I did and I guess it's your turn, Mr. Whatever you are. It's already late and you have overstayed your welcome. It's time for you to leave." Theresa had her devilish smile on.

"How rude of me. κυρία μου (My lady), let me introduce myself, I'm Lucian Artindo. We bumping into each other became a wonderful fortuity for us to dine together and I must say that I fancy you. May I have the pleasure of knowing your name, Ομορφη κοπέλα? (pretty lady)" Lucian gracefully bowed like a gentleman, he was courteous and polite.

"You gotta be kidding me. In my whole life, I have never seen a guy like you, I mean you are straight out of royalty. I must admit I am quiet impressed." Theresa was amazed by his etiquette.

Lucian cackled, "Miss Gabris, you're so funny."

"I know that right, Luci. Don't you think it's time for you to leave?" Theresa pointed her eyebrows to the exit.

"I thought you wouldn't chase me. Also, I have a name, okay? Don't call me Luci." Lucian folded his arms as he sulked.

"It's not like you are an exception, Luci. The name perfectly suits you. Don't you think it's cute?" Theresa grinned, for some reason she enjoyed teasing Lucian.

"I'm off. Thank you for your hospitality. Farewell."

"Farewell, Luci." Theresa waved her hand as Lucian left the suite, carrying the two wine glasses with him.

"I had never thought that he would turn out to be such a fun company. Anyways, here's to tomorrow." Theresa raised the bottle of Evais for the toast.

~~~~~~~~
Meanwhile, in Lucian's suite,
Lucian recalled everything that happened some time ago, "Now as I think of it, I acted so silly. I must have gone crazy to behave in such a way. How did I even let my guard down?" Lucian covered his face in embarrassment. "Stop! I'm Lucian Artindo. I have never showed my soft side to anybody besides my family. How did I end up being so comfortable around a mortal girl? There must have to be something notable about her. She even resisted my irresistible charm, I must keep a close eye on her." Lucian clasped his hands behind his neck, closing his eyes, he fell in the chasmic thoughts.
~~~~~~~~

The infinity stars shone in the endless night sky but not as bright as his golden eyes, "You look more cute when you're asleep." Egan giggled as he affectionately caressed Theresa's hair. "Meet you tomorrow, my love." Just like he entered from the suite's balcony, he jumped his way out from it. If anyone were to see him then they would probably mistaken him for a thief.
