His fate was predetermined: fight, defend, and perish with the stars, a mere cog in the great machinery of creation. But something within him resisted this cruel fate. A seed of defiance sprouted in his heart, whispering of freedom. He sought a way to transcend the cosmic chains—to escape, to defy destiny, to seize freedom at any cost. As a mortal, he felt the agony of watching his loved ones wither and die, powerless to stop the decay of time. He wept for children, lovers, friends. As an emperor, he conquered kingdoms and wielded unimaginable power, only to be betrayed by those he trusted most, dragged from his throne, and executed in shame. As a beggar, he wandered the streets, starving and shivering under the cold gaze of uncaring gods. As a villain, he became the monster in stories told to frighten children—burning cities, drowning nations in blood, only to be hunted and killed by the heroes of those same tales. As a saint, he gave everything—his wealth, his strength, his life—to others, only to discover that gratitude was fleeting and the world did not remember the sacrifices of the righteous. But, Every failure, every death, every betrayal—they were nothing but steps on a long, infinite path. And the path had only one direction: up, through the layers of existence, through the fabric of reality itself. No prison could contain him. No curse could hold him. His heart whispered one thing to him, a truth carved into his soul:Move forward. Always forward. Because he was Li Shenrong—the Lord of the Celestial Throne.
Under everyones curious gaze the coffins lid fell down and a young man sat upright.
His eyes were still fuzzy as he rubbed his eyes with both hands to get a clear vision.
Jessi's observant gaze scrutinised the young man intently.
His head was full of black hair, his eyes were pitch black. A well built physic with strong lean muscle. His shoulder was broad as if it was curved by nature itself. Thin veins protruded out of his shoulder stretching all the way to the end of his arms.
Those pitch black eyes gave off a dangerous aura as if it can bring darkness and light to the world with a blink.
His body gave off a royal aura, giving a feeling that he was the supreme ruler of heaven and earth.
The young man stepped out of the coffin as he stared at Jessi.
Under his gaze she felt naked with no secrets to speak of.
"Give me something to wear will you?" He stretched out his palm and smiled looking at her.
His smile somehow gave her a reassuring feeling.
Jessi suddenly noticed the thick and long snake hanging between his legs which made her face turn red after all she stayed a virgin and never been touched by a man for almost two hundred years.
She moved her broken bones slowly and pulled out a black robe. She felt it would be most suitable for him.
The young man used the robe to cover his body and felt very satisfied.
"If you are finished dressing up, i hope you can come with me young man, after all this place is about to collapse." The man in green broke the peaceful atmosphere.
Everyone turned tense again. Thousands of disciple and elders were full of worry. Jessy signaled them to back off far away. They obeyed albeit reluctantly.
The man in green didn't stop them from leaving since he could catch up to them with just one step.
"Hmm? Who are you?" The young man tilted his head curiously, a faint smile hanging on his lips.
This was a clear provocation to the man in green. But still he spoke very amiably and introduced himself. His eyes glimmered with ferocity.
"I am the current generation sea god, worshipper of the sea dragon emperor."
"Oh and?" The young man asked.
Black lines appeared on the sea gods forehead. No one ever dared to disrespect him in the slightest. Wherever he went everyone would revere him, tremble in fear or prostrate in awe. But today a young man with no background disrespecting him? Simply unacceptable.
"It seems i should teach you to stay in your place." The sea god was so angry even the clouds in the sky roared with thunder.
The sea god stepped forward and less than a blink of an eye he arrived infront of the young man.
The sea god felt his vision turning black all of a sudden and strength leaving his body. He couldn't move at all no matter how hard he tried.
But others view weren't the same. They saw the young man was gripping the sea god by forehead like a chicken. The sea god couldn't put an ounce of resistance, he was like a chicken waiting to be butchered.
Jessi stared at the scene with eyes wide open, her lifeless eyes shimmered with excitement.
The other four sect leaders trembled in horror. Not even in their wildest dream they could imagine the sea god being gripped in the head like a chicken.
"A mere sea worm prancing around in front of me, tsk tsk, simply courting death. That dragon emperor might last one or two moves against me." The young man sighed as he spoke.
